Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, örgütsel iletişimin örgütsel vatandaşlıkla olan ilişkisini ortaya koyarak örgütsel iletişim ile örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışının örgütlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla, imalat sanayinde faaliyet gösteren iki işletmede çalışan toplam 514 çalışan üzerinde bir pilot araştırma yapılmıştır. Çalışmada örgütsel iletişim; dikey (formel), çapraz, yatay ve informel iletişim boyutuyla, örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı ise; özgecilik/nezaket, vicdanlılık/centilmenlik ve sivil erdem boyutuyla ele alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, örgütsel iletişimin alt boyutları ile örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışının alt boyutları arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca örgütsel iletişim ve örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışının işletmelere göre farklılık gösterdiği de belirlenmiştir.
The key objective of this study is to ascertain if the organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior vary among companies through exposing the relationships between organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior. For this purpose, a preliminary study was conducted on 514 employees of two manufacturing enterprises. While the organizational communication was dealt with in terms of its vertical formal), cross-wise, horizontal, and informal forms, the organizational leadership behavior was treated in terms of its Altruism, Conscientiousness, Sportsmanship, Courtesy, and Civic Virtue dimensions. Findings of the study revealed that there is a positive relationship between the subscales of organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior. It was also determined that organizational communication and organizational citizenship behavior vary among companies.
