| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin okuma becerisindeki başarılarını ölçmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir Okuma Başarı Testi geliştirmektir. Bunun için öncelikle literatür taraması yapılmış ve bu alanda geliştirilen başarı testleri incelenmiştir. Literatürde geliştirilen testlerin genellikle çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluştuğu veya sınıf seviyelerine göre farklılıklar gösterdiği görülmüştür. Test geliştirme sürecinde öğrencilerin Türkçe derslerindeki okuma becerisine yönelik karşılaştıkları eğitim durumları dikkate alınmıştır. Hazırlanan belirtke tablosuna göre soru maddeleri hazırlanmış ve 10 alan uzmanının görüşüne sunulmuştur. Uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda testin kapsam geçerlik değeri 0,88’dir. Çalışma grubunu, 2021-2022 yılında Aksaray il merkezinde bulunan devlet okullarında öğrenim gören 235 yedinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Testte yer alan maddelerin güçlük indeksleri (pj) 0,34 ile 0,72 arasında; madde ayırt edicilik güçleri ise (rj) 0,31-0,68 arasındadır. Testin iç güvenirlik katsayısı (KR-20 değeri) 0,72 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Testte yer alan açık uçlu soruların yansız ve güvenilir şekilde puanlanabilmesi için dereceli puanlama anahtarı oluşturulmuştur. Öğrencilerin açık uçlu sorulara verdikleri cevaplar, 3 alan uzmanı tarafından dereceli puanlama anahtarı kullanılarak puanlanmıştır. Puanlayıcılar arasında güvenirliği belirlemek amacıyla maddelerin Krippendorf Alfa (α) katsayısına bakılmış ve maddelerin α değerinin 0.82 ile 0.91 arasında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar Okuma Başarı Testi’nin kabul edilebilir düzeyde geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir. Geliştirilen bu test yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin okuma başarılarını tespit etmede kullanılabilir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and reliable Reading Achievement Test to measure the reading skills of seventh grade secondary school students. For this, first of all, a literature review was made and the achievement tests developed in this field were examined. It has been observed that the tests developed in the literature generally consist of multiple-choice questions or show differences according to grade levels. During the test development process, the educational situations faced by the students regarding the reading skills in Turkish lessons were taken into account. Question items were prepared according to the prepared specification table and presented to the opinion of 10 field experts. In line with expert opinions, the content validity value of the test is 0.88. The sample of the study consists of 235 seventh grade students studying in public schools in Aksaray city center in 2021-2022. The difficulty indices (pj) of the substances included in the test are between 0.34 and 0.72; the substance discrimination powers (rj) are between 0.31-0.68. The internal reliability coefficient (KR-20 value) of the test was calculated as 0.72. In order for the open-ended questions in the test to be scored objectively and reliably, a rubric was created. The answers given by the students to the open-ended questions were scored by 3 field experts using a rubric. In order to determine reliability among raters, the Krippendorf Alpha (α) coefficient of the substances was examined and it was determined that the α value of the substances was between 0.82 and 0.91. These results show that the Reading Achievement Test is valid and reliable at an acceptable level. This developed test can be used to determine the reading success of seventh grade students. | |
