| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı sanal müzede gerçekleştirilen yaratıcı drama eğitiminin matematik öğretmen adaylarının matematik tutumlarına ve matematik öğretimine yönelik yeterlik algılarına etkisini incelemek ve eğer bir etki varsa bunun sebeplerini belirlemektir. Bu çalışmada karma araştırma yöntemlerinden açımlayıcı sıralı desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları bir devlet üniversitesinin ikinci sınıfında öğrenim gören 53 matematik öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Uygulama toplam 10 oturumda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel veriler, Matematik Tutum Ölçeği ve Matematik Öğretimine Yönelik Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği ile nitel veriler ise atölye değerlendirme formları ve odak grup görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizleri ilgili alt araştırma problemleri kapsamında bağımlı ve bağımsız gruplar t testi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nitel verilerde ise betimsel ve içerik analizine gidilmiştir. Uygulamanın matematiğe yönelik tutumlar üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu belirlenmiş olup cinsiyete göre bir farklılık gözlenmemiştir. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının matematik öğretimine yönelik yeterlik algılarının ön testten son teste, anlamlı bir şekilde artış gösterdiği gözlenmiştir. Nitel veriler için elde edilen bulgular ise detaylı olarak ilgili kısımda sunulmuştur. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to examine the effects of creative drama education in the virtual museum on pre-service mathematics teachers' attitudes towards mathematics and their perceptions of proficiency in mathematics teaching, and if there is an effect, to determine the reasons for this. In this study, exploratory sequential design, one of the mixed research methods, was used. The participants of the study consisted of 53 pre-service mathematics teachers studying in the second year of a state university. The application was carried out as ten workshops. Quantitative data were obtained from the scores of pre-service teachers from the Mathematics Attitude Scale and the Scale of Efficiency in Teaching Mathematics, while the data were obtained from workshop evaluation forms and focus groupforms. The analyzes of the quantitative data were carried out with the dependent and independent groups t-test within the scope of the related sub-research problems. On the other hand, descriptive and content analyzes were made in qualitative data. It was determined that the application had a positive effect on attitudes towards mathematics, and no difference was observed according to gender. In addition, it was observed that the pre-service teachers' perceptions of efficacy towards teaching mathematics increased significantly from the pre-test to the post-test. Findings for qualitative data are presented in detail in the relevant section. | |
