| dc.description.abstract | Bu makale, Güney Özbekistan’da geçen yüzyılın başlarında keşfedilen Zarautsay kaya resimlerinin yeni bir izahını sunmaktadır. Yazar, bölgedeki ilk çiftçiler olduklarını ileri sürdüğü, arazide uçları kıvrık ilkel çapalarla çalışan bir grup antropomorfik figürün üzerinde özellikle durmaktadır. Yeni yorumdan elde edilen sonuçların tartışıldığı makale, bu bölgedeki kaya resimlerinin belki de Orta Asya tarihindeki toplumsal cinsiyete dayanan en eski kıyafet ve işbölümü tasviri olabileceğine dikkat çekmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The article presents a new interpretation of the Zarautsay rock paintings found in South Uzbekistan at the beginning of the last century. In particular, the author focuses on one of the plots of anthropomorphic figures, which are treated as early farmers working in the field with primitive hoes, shown as bent tools in the hands of the figures. Conclusions derived from the new interpretation are discussed. The article also pays attention to the fact that, perhaps, this site has the earliest depiction of clothing and labor division based on gender in the history of Central Asia. | |
