| dc.description.abstract | Delhi Türk Sultanlığı 1206-1414 yılları arasında Hindistan’daDelhi merkez olmak üzere büyük bir çoğunluğu Türk olanhanedanlar tarafından yönetilmiştir. Delhi TürkSultanlığı’nda, yönetici kesim yerli halktan oluşmayıp devletteşkilatı, memlûk sistemi üzerine gelişme göstermiştir.Belirtilen zaman aralığında Türklerin varlığı, Hindistan’ınsiyasi, askeri, iktisadi ve kültürel hayatı üzerindeazımsanmayacak ölçüde etkili olmuştur. Bu devlettesaltanatın veraset ile intikaline itibar edilmemekteydi.Dolayısıyla kendisinde hükümdar olma arzusu taşıyanemirler/komutanlar için iktidarın yeni sahibi olmak, oldukçacazip idi. Sultanlığın üst pozisyonlarında yer alan veçoğunlukla sultandan sonra en yetkili makam sahibi olansaltanat naipleri için devletin sahip olduğu bu iktidar anlayışı,onları diğer emirlerden farklı olarak iktidar için daha fazlaistekli kılmıştır. Delhi Türk Sultanlığı’nda saltanat naipliğimakamı, kuruluşundan on dördüncü yüzyıl başına kadar yaniTuğluk hanedanlığı dönemine kadar etkili olmuştur. DelhiTürk Sultanlığı’nda saltanat naipleri, makamlarınınkendilerine tanımış olduğu geniş yetkiler ile güçlü bireremirdiler. Ancak onlar bu güçlerini, sadece makamınkendilerine vermiş olduğu güçten almamaktaydılar. | dc.description.abstract | The Delhi Turkish Sultanate was ruled between 1206and 1414 by dynasties, most of which were Turkish,with Delhi being the center of India.In the Delhi Turkish Sultanate, the ruling class did notconsist of local people, but the state organizationdeveloped on the mamluk system. The presence of theTurks in the specified time period had a substantialimpact on the political, military, economic and culturallife of India. In this state, the succession of the sultanateby inheritance was not respected. Therefore, being thenew owner of power was very attractive for theamirs/commanders who wanted to be rulers. Thisunderstanding of power of the state for the regents ofthe sultanate, who were in the upper positions of thesultanate and who were mostly the most authoritativeafter the sultan, made them more eager for powerunlike other emirs. In the Delhi Turkish Sultanate, theoffice of regency was influential from its establishmentuntil the beginning of the fourteenth century, that is,until the Tugluk dynasty. In the Delhi TurkishSultanate, the regents were powerful emirs with thewide powers their authorities had given them.However, they did not derive their power only from thepower given to them by the authority. In this study, wewill try to show how and to what extent the regents ofthe sultanate in the bureaucracy of the Delhi TurkishSultanate were or could not be effective on thegovernment. | |
