| dc.description.abstract | Tezkireler, önde gelen şahsiyetlerin hayatları ve eserleri hakkında bilgi veren eserlerdir. Toplumun ahlaki değerlerini yüceltmek ve bunları insanlara telkinde bulunmak yani öğütlemek amacıyla yazılan eserler değildir. Ancak dolaylı yollardan insanların etik değerleri anlamalarına ve olumlu örneklerle ilham almalarına salık verebilmektedir. Doğrudan bu amaçla yazılmayan tezkireler, biyografik bilgilerin yanı sıra bu bakış açısıyla değerlendirildiğinde ahlaki öğüt ve tavsiyeleri içeren eserlerden sayılabilir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda bu türün nasıl kullanıldığını incelemek, Osmanlı kültürünün izlerini taşıyan klasik Türk edebiyatının derinliklerine dair önemli bir bakış açısı sunacaktır. Nitekim tezkirelerde ele alınan şahsiyetlerin farklı ve de özel vasıflarıyla toplumda örnek sayılabilecek ve dönemin insanlarına rol model olarak gösterilebilecek kısaca ahlaki erdemi yücelten şahsiyetlerden bazılarıdır, denebilir. Bu bağlamda erdemli insanların hayatlarından kesitler sunan tezkirelere dair toplum için örnek davranışların yer aldığı bir seçki demek mümkündür. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda bu makalede Latîfî Tezkiresi’nin ahlaki bir perspektiften nasıl değerlendirilebileceği ve okuyucuların karakter gelişimine nasıl katkı sağlayabileceği incelenecektir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Tezkires are works that contain the biographies of prominent people in society, especially poets, and provide information about their works. These are not works written with the aim of exalting the moral values of the society and inspiring or advising people. However, it can indirectly advise people to understand ethical values and be inspired by positive examples. Tezkiras, which were not written directly for this purpose, can be considered as works that contain moral advice and recommendations when evaluated from this perspective, as well as biographical information. Examining how this genre is used for this purpose will provide an important perspective on the depths of classical Turkish literature that bears the traces of Ottoman culture. As a matter of fact, it can be said that some of the personalities included in the biographies are individuals who can be shown as examples to the society with their different and special qualities and who also glorify moral virtue. Considered from this perspective, it is possible to say that the biographies, which present sections from the lives of some such virtuous people who could be role models for the people of the period, are a selection of exemplary behaviors for the society. In line with these purposes, this article will examine how the Latîfî Tezkira can be evaluated from a moral perspective and how it can contribute to the character development of readers. | |
