COVİD-19 pandemi sürecinde video tabanlı öz-düzenlemelikoro yönetimi dersine yönelik öğrenci görüşleri

| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma, Covid-19 kaynaklı pandemi sürecinde Türkiye’deki Eğitim Fakülteleri’ne bağlı müziköğretmeni yetiştiren kurumların müfredatındaki “Koro Yönetimi” dersine yönelik öğrencigörüşlerini belirlemeyi amaçlayan nitel bir araştırmadır. Çalışma 2020-2021 Eğitim-ÖğretimYılı’nda İç Anadolu’daki bir üniversitede müzik öğretmenliği eğitimi alan öğrenciler ile (N=40)yürütülmüştür. Bir müzik öğretmeni, meslek hayatı boyunca sınıf korolarını yönetmektedir. Bunedenle koro yönetimi dersinde öğrenilenler ve edinilen tecrübe, bir müzik öğretmeni adayı içinoldukça önemlidir. Koro yönetimi dersinin pandemi sürecinde, uzaktan sağlıklı bir şekildeyürütülebilmesi için araştırmacı video tabanlı öz düzenlemeli öğrenme stratejilerindenfaydalanarak bir ders planı oluşturmuştur Öncelikle araştırmacı, koro yönetimine yönelikhazırladığı teorik ve pratik uygulama videolarını uzaktan eğitim sistemine yüklemiştir. Ardındanözel gün ve haftalar için belirlediği başta İstiklal Marşı olmak üzere, çok sayıda marş ve şarkıyısınıftaki öğrencilere eşit olarak dağıtmıştır. Aynı zamanda teorik altyapıyı güçlendirmek için deders kitabındaki bazı bölümleri öğrenciler arasında eşit olarak paylaştırmıştır. Öğrenciler dönemboyunca kendi öğrenme süreçlerini yönetmişler ve üç video ödevi üzerindendeğerlendirilmişlerdir. Pandemi sürecinde video tabanlı ve öz düzenlemeli öğrenmestratejilerinden faydalanılarak uzaktan yürütülen koro yönetimi dersine yönelik öğrenci görüşleri;elde edilen deneyimler, sürecin avantaj ve dezavantajları ile karşılaşılan problemler olmak üzere 4ana başlık üzerinden yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Eldeedilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen verilerdoğrultusunda, öğrenciler; daha fazla sorumluluk sahibi olduklarını, teknolojik ve teorik alanbirikimlerinin güçlendiğini, özgüven kazandıklarını, mikro öğretim tecrübesi elde ettiklerini, sözlüiletişim becerilerinin geliştiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Kendi öğrenme süreçlerini yönetebilmeyi, öz veakran değerlendirmeyi, sanal gözlem yapabilmeyi, dersi tekrar izleyebilme ve videoyu tekrarçekebilmeyi avantaj olarak görürken; toplulukla çalışamamalarını, iletişim eksikliğini, derssorumlusunun hataları anında düzeltememesini, eğitimde fırsat eşitsizliğine neden olmasınıdezavantaj olarak nitelendirmişlerdir. Video çekme stresini, teknik aksaklıkları, korosuz videoçekmeyi, göz teması sağlanamamasını, arkadaşlarının ilgisizliğini ise karşılaştıkları problemlerolarak ifade etmişlerdir. Çalışma sonunda çözüm önerilerine yer verilmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This qualitative study aims to determine the opinions of students regarding the "ChoirConducting" course in the curriculum of institutions that train music teachers affiliated toEducation Faculties in Turkey during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted withstudents (N=40) studying music teaching at a university in Central Anatolia in the 2020-2021Academic Year. Music teachers conduct classroom choirs throughout their professional life. Forthis reason, what is learned and experienced in the choir conducting course is very significant fora music teacher candidate. First of all, the theoretical and practical application videos preparedby the researcher for the "choir conducting " were uploaded to the distance education system.Then, the researcher distributed many anthems and songs, especially the Turkish NationalAnthem, determined for special days and weeks, to the students in the class. Some sections inthe textbook were also distributed equally among the students to strengthen the theoreticalbackground. Students managed their own learning processes throughout the semester and wereevaluated through three video assignments. Student views on the choir conducting lessonconducted distantly by using video-based and self-regulated learning strategies during thepandemic were evaluated through a semi-structured interview form on four main headings,including gained experiences, advantages of the process, disadvantages of the process, and theproblems encountered. The obtained data were subjected to content analysis. In line with thefindings obtained from the research data, the students stated that they have more responsibility,their technological and theoretical knowledge gained strength, they gained self-confidence, theygained micro-teaching experience, and their verbal communication skills improved. Whilestudents consider being able to manage their own learning processes, self-assessment, peer assessment, virtual observation, re-watching the lesson, and re-shooting the video as anadvantage, they described their inability to work with the community, the lack of communication,the inability of the instructor to correct the mistakes immediately, and the inequality ofopportunity in education as disadvantages. Video shooting stress, technical problems, shootingvideos without chorus, lack of eye contact, and the indifference of their friends were stated asthe problems they encountered by the students. Solution suggestions are presented at the end ofthe study. | |
