Özet
Anadolu Türk?İslam Medeniyeti olarak özel bir vurgulama yapıldığı zaman, dört evren? sel değerin sentezini ifade edilmektedir ki bunlar; din, adalet, barış ve insan haklarıdır. Selçuklular, Anadolu’ya geldikleri andan itibaren bu değerlerin temsilcisi olmuşlardır. Selçuklu Türkleri ve Osmanlılar, Müslüman olmalarına ve bu dinin koruyuculuğunu yapmalarına rağmen, Anadolu’daki diğer dinlere karşı adil bir muamele göstermişlerdir. Herinanç sahibi dinini yaşamada, devlete itaat etmesi ve vergilerini ödemesi karşılığında serbest bırakılmıştır. İnsanlarinançlarını değiştirmeye zorlanmamıştır. İslam kelimesinin bizzat barış manasına gelen ifadesi Anadolu’da asırlarca yaşanmıştır. Anadolu’da yaşa? yan değişik inançtan insanların din, dil, ırk, mezhep ayrımına tabi tutulmadan barış içinde yaşadıkları tarihi bir gerçektir. Dönemin şartları içinde değerlendirildiği zaman bu medeniyet, insan haklarına en fazla riayet eden medeniyet olmuştur denilebilir. Bunun görülebilmesi için aynı çağın medeniyetleriyle karşılaştırma yapılması yeterlidir. Bu medeniyetin kaynağı; Türk tarihi, İslam dini ve Anadolu kültürlerinde aranmalıdır.
When it isespecially mentioned as Anatolian Turkish?Islamic civilization, it meansthat the syn? thesis of four universal values such asreligion, justice, peace and human rights areexpressed. Seljuks becamethe representative of these values sincethey settled in Anatolia. Although Seljuk Turks and Ottomans were Muslim and one of the protective of that Islamic religion, they treated to the otherreligions in justice. Each belief holder were set freein living their faith providing that they were obedient to thestate and pay the taxes. People were not made compulsory to changetheir belief or religion. Being regarded as one of the meaning of Islamic religion peace was widely accept? ed in Anatolia for centuries. As a historicalreality people from different religions lived peacefully in Anatolia with no exposure to the discrimination because of their religion, race, language and sect when assessed in terms of the period, it can bestated that this civilization understanding was one of the most tolerant and careful civilization in terms of human rights. This can be crosschecked clearly when Seljuk’s civilization is compared to its counterparts. The source of this civilization could be followed in Turkish history, Islam and Anatolian culture.
