İbrâhîm’in örnekliği üzerinden bazı durum tespitleri yapılmıştır.
In the Qur’an, the concept of family is expressed with two different words; “ehl” and “al” and they are used in many verses. In these verses some issues such as mutual rights and duties of spouses in the family, marriage, divorce and inheritance were explained, and it was noted that the family has a “sekîne/quiescence” for spouses. The fact that his wife was also mentioned along with Prophet Adam can be considered as a sign that man is not a lonely being. The mention of his children signifies that the family is an institution as old as human history, and that the family is of a great importance. For this reason, it seems possible to determine the view of the Qur’an on the family institution or making some deductions, by giving examples from some of the families of the prophets mentioned in the Qur’an. In the Qur’an, different examples from the families of the prophets are presented and family members are introduced as universal role models, and some of the events that the prophets experienced with their families are described. In this study, first, the concept of “family” in the Qur’an was discussed through the words “ahl” and “al”. Then, the concepts of love, loyalty and trust that keep the family alive according to the Qur’an were examined. After that within the scope of these concepts, some determinations were made based on Prophet Abraham example.
