Özet
Kur’ân nüzûl tarihinin temel meselelerinden biri olan yedi harf konusu, tefsir usûlü ve Kur’ân ilimleri kaynaklarının önemli başlıkları arasında yer almaktadır. Bu yönüyle, ulemânın üzerinde durduğu önemli meselelerden olan yedi harf mevzuu, kıraatin ilmî bir disiplin haline gelmesine ve bu manada meşruiyet kazanmasına zemin hazırlayan konuların da başında gelmektedir. Bu hususiyetinden dolayı olmalıdır ki meseleyi doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak konu edinen pek çok çalışma kaleme alınmıştır. Konuyla ilgili çok sayıda rivayetin bulunmasıyla birlikte bunlarda geçen el-Ahrufü’s-Seb?a tabiriyle neyin kastedildiğine dair Hz. Peygamber’den gelen sarih bir bilginin veya açıklamanın olmayışı, konu hakkında çok fazla yorum yapılmasına kapı aralamıştır. Bu durumun sonucu olarak da yedi harf, sonuca bağlanması gereken ilmî bir mesele olarak görülmüş ve konunun çözümü için hayli gayret sarf edilmiştir. Yedi harf meselesinden bigâne kalamayan çalışmaların başında kıraat ilminin diğer konularıyla birlikte yedi harf meselesini de gündemlerine alan ulûmü’l-Kur’ân kaynakları gelmektedir. Bu çalışma, konusu itibariyle, ulûmü’l-Kur’ân kaynaklarında yedi harf konusunun ele alınışını tespit etmeyi hedeflemektedir. Çalışmanın sorunsalı, ulûmü’l-Kur’ân eserlerinde yedi harf meselesine yaklaşımda zaman içerisinde herhangi bir farklılığın meydana gelip gelmediğini ortaya koymaktır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın giriş kısmında ulûmü’l-Kur’ân kavramı hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra yedi harf kavramı kısaca tanıtılmıştır. Daha sonra ise kronolojik olarak klasik ve modern dönem eserlerinden oluşan beş eser özelinde yedi harf meselesi irdelenmiş, ilgili eserlerde konuyla ilgili ele alınan değerlendirmeler ve yorumlar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
The topic of al-Ahruf al-Sab?a (the seven letters) which is one of the fundamental topics of Qur’?n’s revelation history is considered as one of the most important subjects of us?l al-Tafseer and other Qur’anic disciplines. Because of this, al-Ahruf al-Sab?a played a major role in the process of qiraat (recitation of the Qur’?n) becoming a distinctive scholarly discipline and gain credibility. It must be dues to this fact that a lot of direct as well as indirect works have been published on it. Though there are numerous narratives on the issue, the fact that there is not one healthy narrative or explanation coming from the prophet himself about what is meant by al-Ahruf al-Sab?a has opened the doors to many different comments related to the topic. Hence, this subject has been deemed as an issue to be solved and scholars have tremendous effort into it. The books on ?Ul?m al-Qur’?n (the sciences of the Qur’?n) are amongst the works that have included al-Ahruf al-Sab?a in their chapters along with other topics of qiraat. This paper tries to determine how ?Ul?m al-Qur’?n books have dealt with the topic of al-Ahruf al-Sab?a. The actual aim is to find out whether the approach to al-Ahruf al-Sab?a has changed over time. To provide a background on the topic, the introduction part offers brief information on the term ?Ul?m al-Qur’?n and al-Ahruf al-Sab?a. Later on, the issue is analyzed chronologically based on 5 books from classical and modern eras.
