Gıda tarım ve hayvancılık bakanlığında görev yapan veteriner hekimlerde mobbing (yıldırma) üzerine bir değerlendirme

Özet
Mobbing, çalışma hayatında bireylerin zaman zaman karşılaşabileceği ve belirli bir nedeni olmayan bir durum olup, mobbing davranışlarının kişiler arasında rekabetin bulunduğu her türlü grupta görülebileceği gibi özellikle de kamuda yapılan değerlendirmeler ve yükselmelerde, meslektaşlar ve yöneticiler ile ilişkilerde önemli rol oynadığı da belirtilmektedir. Çalışmada, Türkiye'de Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığı'nda görev yapan veteriner hekimlerin mobbing ile karşılaşma durumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışma evrenini Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığına bağlı kurumlarda kalıcı kadroda bulunan veteriner hekimler oluşturdu. İller, Adana, Erzurum, İstanbul, İzmir, Konya, Samsun ve Şanlıurfa olarak belirlendi ve toplam 630 veteriner hekime anket uygulandı. Çalışmada katılımcılara mobbing ile ilgili iki temel soru yöneltildi ve bu sorular ile demografik özellikler arasındaki ilişki incelendi. Anket uygulaması sonucu elde edilen veriler SPSS 20.0 istatistik programı ile sıklık ve ki-kare analiz testlerine tabi tutuldu. Çalışmada, katılımcıların %11.7'si sürekli, %51.7'si bazen iş yerlerinde mobbing olduğunu belirtirken; katılımcıların toplam %49.0'unun mobbinge bir şekilde maruz kaldığı (geçmişte ve/veya günümüzde) tespit edildi. Sonuç olarak; son yıllarda önemi her geçen gün artan ve kurumların mücadele etmesi gereken bir durum olan mobbingin, Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığı bünyesinde çalışan veteriner hekimlerin çalışma yaşamını olumsuz etkilediği; buna bağlı olarak çalışanların kuruma olan güvenlerini ve kurumun da çalışanları nezdinde itibarlarını kaybetmemeleri adına mobbing sebeplerinin tespit edilip, kalıcı çözümler üretilmesi gerektiği söylenebilir.
Mobbing is an event which employees may be exposed to seen from time to time during their career and has no definite cause; the attitudes of mobbing can also be seen among all types of groups having competition and it is also determined that it played an important role especially in the evaluations executed and promotions in public and relations between colleagues and administrators. In the study, it was aimed to determine the occasions of mobbing which the veterinarians who work for the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock are exposed in Turkey. The population of this study includes the veterinarians who were employed in the institutions of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock as permanent employees. The cities, Adana, Erzurum, İstanbul, İzmir, Konya, Samsun and Şanlıurfa and totally 630 veterinarians were interviewed. The participants were asked two basic questions related to mobbing and the relations between those two questions and demographic characteristics were analyzed. The data are obtained at the end of the applied questionnaire through SPSS 20.0 statistical program related to frequency and chi-square analyzes tests. In the study, 11.7% of the participants stated that there was continuous mobbing in their offices while 51.7% of them stated an occasional mobbing; 49.0% of the participants were reported to be somehow (in the past/at present) exposed to mobbing. In conclusion, it can be said that mobbing which has been gradually increasing in recent years and which is a concept to be struggle against by the institutions may negatively affect the business lives of the veterinarians working for the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock; the reasons for mobbing should be determined in order not to lose the reliance of the employees on the institutions and prestige of the institutions in the presence of their employees and permanent solutions should be found.
