Duygusal yetkinliğin önemli bir bileşeni: duygu anlamanın okul öncesi dönemde çeşitli değişkenler bağlamında incelenmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı duygusal yetkinliğin önemli bir bileşeni olan duygu anlama becerisinin dört temel duygu kapsamında (mutlu, kızgın,üzgün, korkmuş) okul öncesi dönemdeki çocuğa ve anneye ait değişkenler bağlamında incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarına devam eden 4-6 yaş arası 210 çocuk ve çocukların anneleri katılmıştır. Çocukların duygu anlama becerisini ölçmek için Duygu Anlama Testi, çocuklar ve anneye ilişkin genel bilgilere ulaşmak için demografik bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Duygu Anlama Testinin duygu tanıma alt testine yönelik olarak, çocukların alıcı dil becerilerindeki hazır bulunuşluklarını belirlemek için Duygu Anlama Testinden önce çocuklara Türkçe Alıcı Dil Kelime Alt Testi (TİFALDİ) uygulanmıştır. TİFALDİ uygulaması sonucu elde edilen puanlar doğrudan araştırmaya dâhil edilmemiştir. Çocukların duygu anlama becerisinin çocuğun yaşına ve cinsiyetine göre farklılığını değerlendirmek için iki faktörlü ANOVA, ortaya çıkan farkın hangi gruptan kaynaklandığını belirlemek için posthoc testlerinden Dunnett C testi uygulanmıştır. Çocukların duygu anlama becerisinin annenin öğrenim düzeyi, mesleği ve ailenin sahip olduğu gelir düzeyine göre farklılığını incelemek için tek faktörlü ANOVA analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre duygu anlama becerisi çocukların yaşına göre farklılık gösterirken, cinsiyete bağlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Duygu anlama becerisinin annenin öğrenim düzeyi, mesleği ve ailenin gelir düzeyine göre de farklılık göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmanın bulguları alan yazını bilgilerine göre derinlemesine tartışılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to examine emotion understanding which is and important component of emotional competence with in the context of four basic emotions (happy, angry, sad, frightened) in terms of variables of preschool children and mothers. 210 children and their mothers aged 4-6 years who attend preschool education participated in the study. In order to measure emotion understanding of children, Affect Knowledge Test (AKT), demographic information form was used to reach general information about children and mother. For the emotion recognition subtest of the AKT, the Turkish Receptive Vocabulary Subscale (TIFALDI) was applied to the children before the AKT to determine the readiness of children in receptive language skills. The scores obtained as a result of TIFALDI were not included in the study directly. Two-way ANOVA was used to evaulate the difference between children’s emotion understanding according to the age and gender of the child, Dunnet C test from post hoc tests was used to determine the group that caused the difference. One-way ANOVA was performed to examine the difference of emotion understanding of children according to mother’s education level, profession and family income level. Based on the results of the study, emotion understanding differed according to the age of the children and there was no gender difference. It was concluded that emotion understanding did not differ according to the mother’s level of education, occupation and family income level. The findings of the study were discussed in depth with the literature. | |
