Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin çocuk sağlığı hemşireliğine ilişkin algıları: metafor çalış

| dc.description.abstract | Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersini alan hemşirelik öğrencilerinin pediatri hemşireliğine ilişkin algılarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim desenine dayanan metafor tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2020-2021 Eğitim Öğretim Yılı Bahar Yarıyılında Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersini alan hemşirelik üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıfa devam eden 184 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler Öğrenci Bilgi Formu ve pediatri hemşireliği algılarını sorgulayan, “Pediatri Hemşireliği… gibidir, çünkü…” metafor cümlesi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analiz tekniğiyle çözümlenmiştir. Bulgular: Öğrencilerinin %65,76’sı kız, yaş ortalaması 23,27±2,98 yıldır. Öğrenciler “Pediatri hemşireliği” algısına yönelik 24 metafor oluşturmuşlardır. Frekansı en yüksek metaforlar “anne (f=46)”, “süper kahraman (f=27)”, “hayat zorluğunun ta kendisi (f=16)” metaforlarıdır. Tüm metaforlar dört kategoride toplanmıştır. Bu kategoriler; “emek”, “zorluk”, “kolaylık” ve “sorumluluk” kategorileridir. Sonuç: Araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturan öğrencilerin ağırlıklı olarak “pediatri hemşireliği”ne ilişkin olumlu metaforik algılara sahip oldukları, ancak bu hemşirelik alanını zor buldukları belirlenmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The study was conducted to determine the perceptions of nur- sing students who took the Child Health and Diseases Nursing cour- se about pediatric nursing. Material and Method Metaphor technique based on phenomeno- logical design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The sample of the study consisted of 184 students attending the third and fourth year of nursing who took the Child Health and Diseases Nursing course in the Spring Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year. The data were collected using the Student Information Form and the metaphor sentence “Pediatric Nursing is like... because...” questioning the perceptions of pediatric nursing. The data were analyzed by content analysis technique. Results: 65.76% of the students are girls and the mean age is 23.27±2.98 years. Students created 24 metaphors for the perception of “pediatric nursing”. The metaphors with the highest frequency are “mother (f=46)”, “superhero (f=27)”, “the very hardship of life (f=16)”. All metaphors were grouped into four categories. These categories are; “labor”, “difficulty”, “ease” and “responsibility” categories. Sonuç: It was determined that the students forming the sample of the study mostly had positive metaphorical perceptions about “pediatric nursing”, but they found this field of nursing difficult. | |
