Kimyasal bağlar konusunda başarı testi geliştirme çalışması

Bu çalışmanın amacı “Kimyasal Bağlar” konusunda geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmış çoktan seçmeli bir başarı testi geliştirmektir. Alanyazın incelemesinden sonra konu ve kazanımların belirlendiği çalışmada, 22 maddelik bir soru havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Soru havuzu oluştururken Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından merkezi olarak uygulanan sınav sorularından ve yayımlanmış Kazanım Kavrama Testlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Oluşturulan testin ilk hali için uzman görüşlerine başvurulmuş ve maddelerin kapsam ve görünüş geçerliği bakımından uygun olduğuna karar verilmiştir. 22 öğrenci ile pilot çalışma yürütülmüştür. Asıl uygulamada uygun örnekleme yöntemiyle 80 öğrenci, örneklem olarak belirlenmiştir. Uygulama sonrasında betimsel analiz, normallik testi, madde güçlük analizi, madde ayırt edicilik analizi, ortalama madde güçlük ve ortalama madde ayırt edicilik değerleri ve KR-20 iç tutarlık katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Madde güçlük ve ayırt edicilik bakımından uygun olmayan iki madde testten atılmıştır. Ortalama güçlük değeri 0,65, ortalama ayırt edicilik değeri 0,67, KR-20 iç tutarlık katsayısı 0,85 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Testin ortalama değeri incelendiğinde maddelerin kolay ancak oldukça ayırt edici olduğu görülmektedir. KR-20 değerinin 0,70 üzerinde olması testten elde edilen puanların güvenirlik düzeyinin yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışma sonucunda, 20 çoktan seçmeli sorudan oluşan geçerli ve güvenilir bir test elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen başarı testi kimyasal bağlar konusunda öğrencilerin bilişsel yapılarını belirlemede öğretmenler ve araştırmacılar tarafından kullanılabileceği düşünülmektedir.

This study aims to develop a valid and reliable multiple choice achievement test regarding ʺChemical Bondsʺ. In the study, in which the subjects and achievements were determined after the literature review, a 22 item question pool was created. While creating the question pool, high stakes exam questions administered by the Ministry of National Education and the released concept acquisition tests were used. Expert opinions were consulted for the first version of the created test. It was decided that the items were appropriate in terms of content and face validity. A pilot study was conducted with 22 students. In the actual study, 80 students were determined as the sample by using the convenience sampling method. After the actual study, descriptive analysis, normality test, item difficulty analysis, and item discrimination analysis was conducted and overall item difficulty, overall item discrimination values, and KR 20 internal consistency coefficient were calculated. Two items that were not suitable in terms of difficulty and discrimination were excluded from the test. The overall test difficulty value was .65, the overall test discrimination value was .67, and the KR 20 internal consistency coefficient was .85. When the overall difficulty value of the test is examined, it was seen that the items were easy and quite distinctive. KR 20 value above .70 indicates that the test has a high level of reliability. As a result of the study, a valid and reliable test consisting of 20 multiple choice questions was obtained. It is thought that the obtained achievement test can be used by teachers and researchers to determine the cognitive structures of students about chemical bonds.
