Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin oyuncak kavramlarına ilişkin metaforik algılarını belirlemektir. Bunun için okul öncesi öğretmenlerinden "okul öncesi dönem çocuğu için oyuncak...........gibidir, çünkü" cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Aksaray İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı bağımsız anaokulları ve anasınıflarında çalışan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubunu ise tesadüfî örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen 74 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlerden elde edilen veriler içerik analizine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; oyuncak kavramına yönelik 48 metafor ve 6 kategori ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu metaforlar "(1) tüm gelişim alanlarını destekleyici olarak oyuncak, (2) eğlence aracı olarak oyuncak, (3) oyunların temel malzemesi olarak oyuncak, (4), çocuğun temel ihtiyaçlarından birisi olarak oyuncak, (5) çocuğun duygularını ve hayallerini yansıtıcı olarak oyuncak, (6) çocuğun ailesinin bir üyesi olarak oyuncak" kategorilerinde toplanmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to determine metaphorical thoughts of early childhood education teachers about the toy concept. For this purpose, from pre-school teachers "toys for pre-school children is ....like ......... because" were asked to complete the sentence. The universe of study is composed from the working teachers in the independent preschools and kindergarten to affiliated Aksaray Provincial Directorate of Education. The working group is constituted by random sampling method identified 74 pre-school teachers.The data obtained from the teachers are evaluated according to the content analysis.According to the resulting of survey; 48 metaphors and 6 categories emerged for the toy concept. These metaphors; "(1) supporting the toy all areas of development, (2) entertainment tool as toys (3) toys as the main material of the play, (4), as one of the child's basic needs toys, (5) toys as reflective of the child's feelings and dreams, (6) toy as a member of the child's family "categories were collecte.
