| dc.description.abstract | Bitinya coğrafyasında kurulan ve kısa sürede beylikten imparatorluğa dönüşen Osmanlı Devleti, tarih araştırmacılarının her zaman ilgi odağı olmuştur. Özellikle kuruluş dönemiyle ilgili birçok mesele hâlâ tartışılmaktadır. Osmanlı Devleti’nin kurucularının menşei, ilk siyasi ve askerî faaliyetleri, beyliğin siyasi olarak ortaya çıkışı gibi konular hâlâ tarihçiler arasında tartışma konusu olarak devam etmektedir. Bu konuların tam olarak açıklanamamasının nedeni Osmanlı Devleti’nin kuruluşuna dair kaynakların yetersiz olması ve bu kaynakların menkıbevi bir anlatımla yazılmış olmasındandır. Sadece sınırlı sayıdaki bu kaynaklara bağlı kalmak, kuruluş dönemi hakkındaki tartışmalara son verilmesine imkân tanımamaktadır. Bundan dolayı Halil İnalcık’ın izinden giderek bizzat sahaya inmek, coğrafyayı adım adım dolaşmak, tarihi kaynaklardaki her türlü bilgiyi coğrafya üzerinde tartışmak gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada Osman Gazi’nin bağımsızlığını ilan etmesinden önceki faaliyetleri incelenecektir. Özellikle Osmanlı tarihçilerinin çok fazla üzerinde durmadığı İnegöl tekfurluğu ile aralarındaki ilişkiler üzerinde durulacaktır. Mevcut olan Osmanlı kroniklerindeki bilgiler tekrardan eleştirel bir gözle incelenip, olayların gerçekleştiği coğrafya üzerinde saha çalışması yapılarak ve daha önce yapılan saha çalışmalarından elde edilen veriler de kullanılarak toponomik veriler ışığında Osman Gazi’nin İnegöl tekfurluğu ile mücadeleleri ele alınacaktır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Ottoman state, which founded in Bitinya geography and transformed from principality to empire in a short time, has always been the focus of attention of history researchers. Many issues related to the establishment period are still being discussed. The origin of the founders of the Ottoman state, the first political and military activities, and the political emergence of the principality are still the subject of debate among historians. The reason why these issues cannot be fully explained is that the resources related to the establishment of the Ottoman state are insufficient and that these sources are written in a mystical way. Adherence to only a limited number of these resources does not allow the elimination of discussions about the establishment period. For this reason, following the footsteps of Halil Inalcık, it is necessary to go down to the field, to go around the geography and to discuss all kinds of information in historical sources on geography. In this study, Osman Ghazi's activities before the declaration of independence will be examined. In particular, the relationship between the abundance of Inegöl and the Ottoman historians will not be emphasized. The information in the existing Ottoman chronicles will be re-examined with a critical eye and the field studies will be carried out on the geography where the events took place and the data obtained from the previous field studies will be reviewed and the struggles of Osman Gazi with Inegöl will be discussed in the light of the topological data. | |
