| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği birinci sınıfa yeni başlayan öğretmen adaylarının, sosyal bilgiler ve sosyal bilimlere yönelik algılarını, metafor (mecaz, benzetme) yöntemi kullanarak tespit etmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öğrencilere sosyal bilgiler, sosyal bilimler ve sosyal bilimlerin disiplinlerini (tarih, coğrafya, ekonomi, sosyoloji, hukuk, siyaset bilimleri, arkeoloji, antropoloji, psikoloji, sanat tarihi) neye benzettikleri ve bu benzetmenin sebebi sorulmuştur. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yönteminden, olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2013- 2014 eğitim öğretim dönemi başında Akdeniz Üniversitesi birinci sınıfa yeni başlayan 75 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Katılımcıların seçiminde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden uygun örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler ve sosyal bilimler hakkında olumlu metafor geliştirdikleri görülmüştür. Öğrenciler ayrıca sosyal bilgilerin ve sosyal bilimlerin çok parçalı yani birçok alandan oluştuğunu söylemişlerdir. Bunun yanı sıra sosyal bilgiler ve sosyal bilimleri birbirine karıştıran öğrenciler de olmuştur. Ayrıca öğrencilerin siyaset bilimi ve ekonomi disiplinlerine yönelik genellikle olumsuz metafor geliştirdikleri görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin tarih, coğrafya, sosyoloji, arkeoloji, sanat tarihi disiplinleri ile ilgili genellikle olumlu yönde metafor geliştirdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin hukuk, antropoloji ve psikoloji disiplinleri ile ilgili olarak hem olumlu hem olumsuz metafor geliştirdikleri saptanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışma grubundan bazı öğrencilerin sanat tarihi, arkeoloji ve antropoloji disiplinleri ile ilgili metafor geliştiremedikleri tespit edilmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to analyze the perceptions of the teacher candidates that have just started the first grade of the social studies teaching towards the social studies and the social sciences by using the metaphor method. To realize this aim, the students were asked what they compared the social studies, the social sciences and the disciplines of the social sciences to and why. The phenomenology model of the qualitative research methods was used in the study. The study group of the study consisted of 75 students that have just started the first grade at Akdeniz University at the beginning of 2013 – 2014 educational years. A sampling method from the purposeful sampling methods was used to choose the participants. The data was analyzed with the content analysis method. According to the general results of the research it was determined that the students improved positive metaphors about the social studies and the social sciences. In addition, the students said that the social studies and the social sciences were very fragmental and that they consisted of so many fields. Besides, some students confused the social studies with the social sciences. In addition, it was understood that the students generally improved negative metaphors about the political sciences and economy. It was seen that the students generally improved positive metaphors about the disciplines such as history, geography, sociology, archaeology, art history. It was found out that the students improved both positive and negative metaphors about law, anthropology and psychology. In addition, it was seen that some students in the study group couldn’t improve any metaphors about the disciplines such as art history, archaeology and anthropology. | |
