Özet
Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarında problem çözme eğilimi ile internet bağımlılığı özalgısı incelenmiş ve bu ilişkide cinsiyetin bir rol oynayıp oynamadığına bakılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını İç Anadolu bölgesinde bir taşra devlet üniversitesinde eğitim gören öğretmen adayları oluşturmuştur. Veriler Problem Çözme Envanteri ve İnternet Bağımlılığı ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Analizler öncesi ölçeklerin yapısal özellikleri mevcut veriler ile test edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak öğretmen adaylarının problem çözme özalgılarının orta ve yüksek, internet bağımlılıklarının ise düşük ve orta düzeylerde olduğu, bu iki değişkenin zıt yönlü ilişkili olduğu ve bu ilişkide cinsiyetin kadınların lehine bir rol oynadığı bulunmuştur.
This study aims to explore the relation between Internet addiction and problem solving self-perception. Moreover, the importance of gender was examined in this relation. The participants were preservice teachers from a government university in Anatolia region. Data was collected using problem solving and Internet addiction scales. Data was used to test the structural features of scales before data analysis. The results show that the self-perception of preservice teachers’ problem solving is medium and high, and the Internet addiction level is low and medium. The relation between self-perception scale and Internet addiction is opposite relationship and there is a case in favor of women in that situation.
