Özet
Osmanlı Batılılaşması tavandan tabana yayılan bir modernleşme sürecidir. Osmanlı Devleti ve aydınlarınca kurtuluşun çaresi olarak öngörülen Batılılaşma ile Osmanlı devlet ve toplum yapısı, siyasî ve sosyal gelişmelere göre yeniden şekillendirilmeye çalışıldı. Çalışmada; Osmanlı fikir adamlarının gözüyle Batılılaşmanın mahiyeti ele alınmaktadır
