Aim: It was aimed to determine the incidence of colon polyps in Acromegaly and to compare the demographic characteristics, endocrinological and clinical parameters of patients with and without colon polyps. Materials and Methods: 70 Patients with Acromegaly at KTU Faculty of Medicine were evaluated retrospectively according to their colonoscopic findings. Results: Colon polyps were detected in 18 (25.7%) of 70 Acromegaly cases. There was a significant correlation was found between colon polyps and smoking, hemoglobin, MCV and basal IGF-1 levels. Basal IGF-1 levels were found to be low in patients with colon polyps (p=0,045). Conclusion: The incidence of colonic polyps in patients with Acromegaly was found to be 25,7%, it was observed to be increased compared to the normal population.
