Çağatay Türkçesi dönemine ait Tevârîh-i Güzîde-i Nusret Nâme’nin (The British Library nüshası) dili

Moğol tarihi ve onların büyük komutanı Cengiz Han, tarih boyunca birçok araştırmacının ilgisini çekmiş ve hakkında bir hayli eser kaleme alınmıştır. Moğol hükümdarı Cengiz Han’ın doğumu, yaşamı, kişiliği, ailesi, soy kütüğü ve fetihleri ile ilgili yazılmış eserlere “Cengiz-nâme” adı verilir. Bu makalenin konusu olan Çağatay Türkçesi döneminde kaleme alınmış olan Tevârîh-i Güzîde-i Nusret-nâme de mensur bir Cengiz-nâme’dir. Eserin katalog kaydında ve içeriğinde Hicri 908 (M 1502) yılında yazıldığı bilgisi mevcuttur ancak kim tarafından yazıldığı belirtilmemiştir. Eserin iki nüshası vardır. İncelenen nüsha Londra’daki British Library’de muhafaza edilmektedir. Eser 149 varaktan oluşmaktadır. Eserin temel konusunu Cengiz Han’ın hayatı oluşturmaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra eserde Oğuz Kağan Destanı, Türk ve Moğol kavimleri ile Cengiz Han’ın şeceresi hakkında detaylı bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu eser dil hususiyetleri açısından Çağatay Türkçesinin özelliklerini yansıtmakla birlikte Oğuz Türkçesine ait kelimelere, eklere ve seslik özelliklere de sahiptir. İmla bakımından eser, noktalı Arap harflerinin noktalarının genellikle kullanılmadığı ve aynı kelimenin farklı bir, iki, üç hatta dört varyantının olduğu bir metindir.

Mongolian history and their great commander, Genghis Khan, have attracted the attention of many researchers from past to present, and many works have been written about him. The works written about the birth, life, personality, family, genealogy and conquests of the Mongolian ruler Genghis Khan are called "Genghis-nama". Written during the Chagatay Turkish period, Tevârîh-i Güzîde-i Nusret-nâme, which is the subject of this article, is also a sample for Genghis-nama in prose. There is information in the catalog record and content of the work concluding that it is written in 908 AH (1502 CE). It is not specified by whom the work is written. There are two copies of the work. The copy analyzed in this study is kept in the British Library in London. The book consists of 149 sheets. The main subject of the work is Genghis Khan’s life. In addition, detailed information about the Epic of Oghuz Khan, Turkish and Mongolian tribes, and genealogy of Genghis Khan is given in the work. Although this work reflects the characteristics of Chagatay Turkish in terms of linguistic features, it also has the words, suffixes and phonetic features of Oghuz Turkish. In terms of spelling, the work is a text in which the dots of dotted Arabic letters are not usually used and there are different one, two, three or even four variants of the same word.
