Fizik, kimya ve biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının çevre bilinç düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Yapılan çalışmalar, ülkemizdeki eğitim kurumlarında çevre eğitimine yeterince yer verilmediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu çalışmada f izik, kimya ve biyoloj i öğretmen adaylarının genel çevre bilgileri ve içinde yaşadıkları çevreye karşı bu bilgileri kullanma düzeyleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini, KTÜ Fatih Eğitim Fakültesi f izik (25), kimya (25) ve biyoloj i (25) öğretmenliği son sınıf ta öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 75 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veriler anket ve mülakat teknikleri kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Ankette 4 açık uçlu, 22 üç seçenekli toplam 26 soru bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca her programdan seçilen 5 er öğretmen adayı ile yarı-yapılandırılmış mülakatlar yürütülmüştür. Anket maddelerinin karşılaştırılmasında ki-kare testi kullanılmıştır. Ki-kare analizi sonucunda branşlar arasında sadece bir maddede ve cinsiyette ise üç maddede anlamlı f arklılıklar bulunmuştur. Anketteki tüm maddeler dikkate alındığında, çevreye yönelik bilgi ve tutumların, cinsiyet ve branşa göre f arklılaşmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Diğer bir sonuç ise, öğretmen adaylarının çevreye karşı bilgi ve davranımlarının yeterli düzeyde olmadığıdır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Research shows that the environmental education is not sufficiently addressed in educational institutions in our country. In this study, physics, chemistry and biology student teachers' general environmental information, and their level of utilization of this knowledge for the environment in which they live were tried to determine. The sample of the study consisted of physics (25), chemistry (25) and biology student teachers (25), a total of 75 student teachers studying in their final year at KTU Fatih Faculty of Education. The data were collected using questionnaire and interview techniques. The questionnaire consisted of a total of 26 questions, 4 open-ended and 22 multiple-choice with three options. In addition, the semi-structured interviews were conducted with 5 student teachers randomly selected from each program. Chi-square test was used to compare the items in the questionnaire. The results from the chi-square indicated that there is a significant difference in only one item between the branches and three items in terms of the gender. Considering all items in the questionnaire, the result is reached that information and behavior levels towards the environment does not differ in term of gender and branches. Another result is that student teachers’ information and behavior levels towards the environment was not enough. | |
