| dc.description.abstract | Turizm sektörü hızlı büyüyen ve önemi artan sektörlerden biridir. Turizm sektörü çok sayıda alt sektörden oluşmuştur. Turizm sektörünün ekonomik kalkınmaya, gelir adaletsizliğinin giderilme-sinde ve istihdam üzerinde katkıları bulunmaktadır. Bu çerçevede Borsa İstanbul'da işlem gören turizm şirketlerinin finansal performanslarının araştırılması hem yatırımcılar hem de yöneticiler için önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Borsa İstanbul'da iş-lem gören halka açık turizm şirketlerinin performanslarının değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmada yapılmış olan analizlerden elde edilen bulgulara modelin çözümü bölümünde yer verilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde, elde edilen bulgular Finans teorisi ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Ayrıca, bu bölümde turizm sektörüne ilişkin genel değerlendirilmelerde bulunularak sektörde faaliyet gösteren işletmeler için çözüm önerileri sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing sectors. The tourism sector is composed of many subsectors. The tourism sector has positive contributions to economic development, elimination of income injustice and employment. In this frame, investigating the financial performance of tourism companies traded on the Borsa Istanbul is important for both investors and managers. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performances of publicly traded tourism companies traded in Istanbul Stock Exchange. The findings obtained from the analyzes were included in the analysis of the model section. Findings obtained in the conclusion section are related to finance theory. In addition, in this section general evaluations were made about tourism sector and some solutions were proposed for businesses operating in the sector. | |
