Effect of financing resources on profit, investment, and firm value: comparison of BIST and NYSE

The effect of financing resources on the companies' profitability, investments, and market values are investigated for the BIST industrial companies operating in Turkey, representing the Industrial Index and companies operating in the NYSE Industry Index, representing American industrial companies. Logarithmic models are used to achieve this aim, and the period of the study is between 2016 and 2018. As a result of the models used, it is seen that effect of financing resources on profitability, fixed investments, and market value for industrial index companies of Turkey stock market and industrial index companies of American Stock market have shown to give mixed results.
