Öğe A morphometric study on skulls of Hasmer and Hasak sheep breeds(Sociedad Chilena de Anatomía, 2023) Can, Mehmet; Özudoğru, Zekeriya; İlgün, RamazanThe aim of the study was to investigate the head structures of two domestic sheep breeds (Hasak and Hasmer) in Turkey. Gender neutral eight adult Hasmer sheep of 45-66 kg and eight Hasak sheep breeds of 43-66 kg obtained from Bahri Dag.das, International Agricultural Research Institute were used in this study. Measurements were made using digital caliper from 40 points on the skulls of both species. The skull of Hasmer sheep (265.56 +/- 14.08) was longer than the skull of Hasak sheep (262.86 +/- 9.65). However, the length of the arcus alveolaris maxillaris (77.01 +/- 5.08), the length of the molar teeth (50.81 +/- 1.22) and the length of the premolar teeth (26.16 +/- 4.62) of Hasak sheep were compared to the Hasmer sheep (71.59, +/- 5.25; 47.99 +/- 3.64; 24.03 +/- 3.76, respectively) was observed to be greater. According to these findings, although the skull length of Hasak sheep was shorter than that of Hasmer sheep and arcus alveolaris maxillaris in which molar and premolar teeth were placed was longer. In Hasmer sheep the values of greatest breadth of the foramen magnum, height of the foramen magnum (basion - opisthion), greatest neurocranium breadth-greatest breadth of the braincase (euryon - euryon) were higher than those of Hasak sheep. The difference between these values was also statistically significant (p <0.05). The lateral length of the premaxilla (nasointermaxillare- prosthion) parameter measured between these two species was statistically very important (p <0.01). In conclusion, in this study craniometric values depending on skull morphology of Hasmer and Hasak sheep which accepted as native breeds of Turkey were tried, to reveal similarities and differences with other sheep breeds in both amongst themselves.Öğe An Investigation of the Change of Career Expectations of Students in Cookery Education in the Scope of the Effects of COVID-19(Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, 2023) Can, Mehmet; Benli, SercanCareer expectation level is shaped by many social, cultural and environmental factors. In order to the professional career expectation level to be high that is necessary to meet the needs, wishes, and desires of the individual that do not conflict with the business line, profession, and environment of the individual. For this reason, knowing the factors affecting the professional career perception of the individual who is educated in any sector and determining the level of professional motivation within this framework emerges as a very important requirement in terms of sectoral development and employment. In this respect, what expectations the individual has from the sector s/he wants to work in and the direction of these expectations are important in the context of motivation and career goals. In this research, it is aimed to examine the change in the career expectations of students who receive cookery education within the scope of the effects of COVID-19. The research was designed in the screening model. The universe of the research consists of students who continue their education in Aksaray University Güzelyurt Vocational School Cookery Program in the between 2019-2021 academic years. As a data collection tool in the research, Aymankuy and Aymankuy's (2013) research questionnaire for tourism and hotel management students was used. The data were analysed through frequency analysis and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks tests. According to the findings, it has been seen that the expectations of the cookery program students for their profession are high, but this expectation was lower than before the pandemic.Öğe Intrarenal segmentation of the renal arteries in the Red fox (Vulpes Vulpes Leinnoleus 1758) from Anatolia(Harran Üniversitesi, 2018) Özüdoğru, Zekeriya; Özdmeir, Derviş; Can, Mehmet; Aksoy, GürsoyThis study was carried out to determine the biometric parameters and intrarenal segmentation of the renal arteries of kidney in the Red fox (Vulpes Vulpes Leinnoleus 1758). Corrosion cast method was applied to fourteen kidneys. It was found that the means for diameter of the aorta abdominalis, arteria renalis dextra and arteria renalis sinistra were 6.09 mm, 2.45 mm and 1.94 mm, respectively. Arteria renalis dextra was longer than the left artery. The renal arteries were divided into the dorsal and ventral branches. Both dorsal and ventral branches gave off the arteria interlobaris, arteria arcuata and arteria interlobularis, respectively. The right dorsal branch gave off 6 to 7 segmental arteries, the right ventral branch 5 to 7 segmental arteries, the left dorsal branch 6 to 8 segmental arteries and the left ventral branch 4 to 7 segmental arteries. Double renal arteries were determined in 3 of 10 (30%) kidneys but only on the left side. As a result, arterial vascularization of red fox kidneys was examined and similarities and differences with other animal species were determined.Öğe İş-Aile ve Aile-İş Yaşamı Çatışma Durumları ile Prososyal Motivasyon Davranışı Arasındaki İlişki: Mutfak Çalışanları Üzerine Bir Araştırma(İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi, 2023) Can, MehmetÇalışanların görev tanımlarının dışında ekstra çaba sarf etmeleri başka bir ifade ile örgütsel anlamda prososyal motivasyon davranışı göstermeleri iş gerekliliklerine, görev ile ilgili sorumluluklara, aile içerisindeki rollere ve aileye karşı sorumluluklara bağlı olarak farklılık gösterebilmektedir. Bu durum, iş veya aileden kaynaklı gerekliliklerin bir açıdan karşılıklı olarak bağdaşmadığı durumlarda ortaya çıkan roller arası çatışma sonucu ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Bu varsayımla yapılan mevcut çalışma ile çalışanların örgüt içerisindeki göstermiş olduğu prososyal motivasyon davranışları ile iş-aile ve aile-iş yaşamı çatışma durumları arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Veriler, Antalya’da faaliyet gösteren 5 yıldızlı zincir otel işletmelerinde çalışan toplam 391 mutfak personeli ile nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden anket tekniği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma sonuçlara göre, mutfak çalışanlarının prososyal davranışları ile iş-aile çatışma durumları arasında herhangi bir ilişki kurulamadığı, ancak aile-iş yaşamı çatışma durumu ile prososyal motivasyon davranışları arasında önemli düzeyde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuç aslında çalışanların prososyal motivasyon davranışlarının, iş dışı aile yaşamlarından ve sorumluluklarından kaynaklı olarak ortaya çıkan çatışmalardan ziyade iş yükünden ve işteki sorumluluklarından etkilendiğini ortaya koymuştur.Öğe Morphometric study on the Hasak Sheep Mandible(Bülent VEREP, 2020) Özüdoğru, Zekeriya; İlgün, Ramazan; Can, MehmetThe study was carried out to reveal some macroanatomical and morphometric values on the Hasak sheep mandible. In the study, eight reformed dead Hasak sheep mandibles from Konya Bahri Dagdas International Agricultural Research Institute were used. The length between 19 different points in the mandible of Hasak sheep was measured and the values obtained were compared with other sheep breeds. As a result of this comparison, it has been determined that the mandible length and mandible height values of Hasak sheep are higher than Hemsin, Morkaraman, Tuj, Mehraban, Iranian domestic sheep breeds and lower than that of Konya merino sheep, Hasmer, Yankasa, Barbados Black Belly sheep. These results are of clinical importance to assist in regional anesthesia of the mandibular and mental nerves, especially during surgical operation, archaeological studies, tooth extraction and treatment in the mandible.Öğe
