| dc.description.abstract | Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nde 1960 ile 1971 yılları arasında dönemin iktidarlarının ülkede yaşanan sorunları önlemede yetersiz kalması sebebi ile 2 ihtilal, 2 ihtilal girişimi olmuştu. Muhsin Batur bu hareketlerden 27 Mayıs 1960 ihtilalinin haklı olduğunu düşündüğü için müdahalenin içinde, 21 Şubat 1962 ve 21 Mayıs 1963 ihtilal girişimlerinin yanlış olduğunu düşündüğü için girişimin karşısında, 12 Mart 1971 Muhtırasının ise gerekli olduğu düşüncesiyle başında bulunmuştu. Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı süresinin dolması ile emekliye ayrılan ve askeri hayatı sona eren Batur'un, dönemin Cumhurbaşkanı Fahri Korutürk tarafından Kontenjan Senatörü seçilmesiyle siyasi hayatı başlamış ve senatörlüğünün son döneminde cumhurbaşkanı adayı olmuştur. Çalışmanın amacı Muhsin Batur'un, dönemin askeri ve siyasi olaylarına bakış açısı, tutumu ve etkisini incelemektir. Çalışma konusu olarak tercih edilmesinin sebebi ise; Batur'un dönemin siyasi hayatını etkileyecek faaliyetlerde bulunmuş olması ve buna karşın üzerinde yeterli çalıma yapılmamış olmasıdır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Since the government could not manage the issues in the Republic of Turkey, two military coups and two coup attempts have become between 1960 and 1971. Because of fact that Muhsin Batur thought the 27 May 1960 coup was right he was along with these attempts, since he thought 21 February 1962 and 21 May 1963 attempts were wrong he was against the attempts and since the 12 March 1971 coup is necessary he was head of the coup. Batur, who retired with the expiration of his term as Air Force Command and his military life ended, commenced his political life with the election of the quota senator by President Fahri Korutürk and became a presidential candidate in the last term of his senatorship. The purpose of the study is to examine Muhsin Batur's perspective, attitude, and influence on the military and political events of the period. The reason why it is preferred as a study subject is; The fact that Batur was involved in activities that would affect the political life of the period, but there was not enough work on it | |
