Özet
Üniversite öğrencilerinin spora katılım ve spora yönelik tutumlarının tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılan bu araştırmanın evrenini, 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Adana Bilim ve Teknoloji üniversitesinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada örneklem grubunu 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Adana Bilim ve Teknoloji üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 365 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. İlişkisel araştırma modelinin kullanıldığı çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerin spora katılım ve spora yönelik tutumları, öğrencilerin yaş, medeni durum, aile ekonomik durumu, yaşanan yer, daha önce spor yapma durumu, spor yapıldıysa süresi ve spor yapıldıysa branş, değişkenleri üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada üniversite öğrencilerinin spora katılım ve spora yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi için iki farklı ölçekten oluşan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan “Egzersiz Motivasyon Anketi” Rogers ve Morris (2003) tarafından geliştirilmiş, Türkçe geçerliliği ve güvenirliliği Gürbüz ve ark. (2006) tarafından yapılmıştır. “Spora Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ise Halil Evren Şentürk (2012) tarafından oluşturulmuştur. Analizler, betimsel istatistiklerin yanında bağımsız gruplarda aritmetik ortalamalar arası farka ait t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, korelâsyon ve regresyon analizleri ile elde edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonuçları SPSS 21.0 programı ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, üniversite öğrencilerinin yaşları ile motivasyon ölçeğinin alt boyutları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık tespit edilmiş, öğrencilerin yaşadıkları yer ile motivasyon ölçeğinin alt boyutları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık tespit edilmemiştir. Öğrencilerin branşları ile motivasyon ölçeğinin alt beceri gelişimi, dış görünüm, sağlık ve spor tutumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık belirlenmiş, motivasyon ölçeğinin sosyalleşme, rekabet alt boyutlarında anlamlılık tespit edilmemiştir. Öğrencilerin gelir durumları ile motivasyon ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında istatistiksel bir anlamlılık tespit edilmezken, spor tutum boyutunda anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin spor yapma süreleri ile motivasyon ölçeğinin bütün alt boyutları arasında istatistiksel bir anlamlılık tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of university students towards participation in sports and the sport and the population of this research consists of the students who are studying at Adana Science and Technology University in the academic year of 2018-2019. The sample group of the study consisted of 365 students studying at Adana Science and Technology University in the academic year of 2018-2019. In this study, using the relational research model, university students' attitudes towards sports participation and sports, age, marital status, family economic status, place of residence, sports history, sports duration and sports were evaluated within the variables such as sports duration and branch. In the study, a questionnaire form consisting of two different scales was used to determine the attitudes of university students towards sports participation and sports. The Exercise Motivation Questionnaire used by the research was developed by Rogers and Morris (2003) and the Turkish validity and reliability was evaluated by Gürbüz et al. (2006). In addition to descriptive statistics, the t-test of the difference between the arithmetic means in independent groups was obtained by one-way analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis. The results of the analysis were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 program. As a result of the study, statistical significance was determined between the age of the university students and the sub-dimensions of the motivation scale and no statistical significance between the students' place of residence and the sub-dimensions of the motivation scale was found. The statistical significance of the sub-skills development, external appearance, health and sports attitudes of the students' motivation scale was determined and no significant difference was identified in socialization and competition sub-dimensions of motivation scale. While there was no statistical significance of the students' income status and the motivation scale, there was a significant difference in the sport attitude dimension. A statistical significance was determined between all the sub-dimensions of the motivation scale of the students and their duration of sports.
