Abstract
Cumhuriyetten günümüze yaşanan ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel ve siyasal gelişmeler mekânın kurgusunun ve anlamının değişiminde etkili olmuştur. Bu değişim sürecinden insanın temel gereksinimlerinden biri olan barınma gereksinimini karşılayan konut da etkilenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın konusu cumhuriyetten günümüze kadar geçen sürede dışa kapalı konut üretiminin gelişim sürecinin irdelenmesidir. Bu çerçevede, Türkiye’deki dışa kapalı konut üretimi, üç dönemde çözümlenmiştir. Bunlardan ilki, cumhuriyetten 1960’a kadar olan “Üretim Yerleşkelerinde Bütünleşik Konut Üretimi-Modernizm” dönemi, ikincisi 1960’ların başından 1990’ların ortasına kadar olan “Yapı Kooperatifi-Lojman-Modenizm” dönemi ve üçüncüsü de 1990’lardan günümüze “Dışa Kapalı Konut (Güvenlikli Site/Rezidans)-Modernizm” dönemidir. Çalışmada, dışa kapalı gelişim süreci, sosyal, ekonomik, siyasi, güvenlik, mekânsal, kentsel-ekolojik boyutlar doğrultusunda tarihsel bir süreç içinde, bütüncül bir yaklaşımla literatür üzerinden ele alınmış ve bu boyutlar birbirleriyle ilişkilendirilmiştir.
Economical, socio-cultural and political developments since the beginning of the Turkish republic have been significantly effective on the transformation of the set-up and the meaning of the environment. Dwelling, which meets one of the fundamental needs of human, has been affeccted by this transformation process as well. In this context, the issue of this study is to analyze the developmental process of the self-enclosed dwelling production since the foundation of the Turkish republic. So, self-enclosed dwelling production in Turkey has been scrutinized in three phases. The first of them is ‘Integrated Dwelling Production In The Place Of Prodution - Modernism’, which started with the foundation of the Turkish Republic, the second is ‘Construction Cooperative – Mass Housing – Modernism’, which lasted from the early 1960s to the mid-90s, and the final one is ‘Self – Enclosed Dwelling (Gated Community / Residence) - Modernism’ which started in mid-90s and continued until today. Within this study, self-enclosed developmental process has been analyzed in accordance with social, economical, political, security, spatial and urban-ecologic dimensions; in a historical process; with a holistic approach; and over the literature. These dimensions have been studied by associating them to each other.
