| dc.description.abstract | Eyyûbîler döneminde yaşayan ve Memlük Devleti’nin kuruluş yıllarına da şahitlik etmiş olan İzzeddîn b. Abdüsselâm müderrisliğinin yanı sıra Emevî Camii hatipliği ve Dımaşk kadılığı gibi pek çok önemli görevi üstlenmiş büyük âlimlerdendir. Bu görevleri dolayısıyla o, halkla her zaman yakın bir münasebet içerisinde olmuş, sultanlar ve devlet görevlileri tarafından da büyük ilgi görmüş ve taltif edilmiştir. İzzeddîn b. Abdüsselâm’ın bu konumu ve şahsî özellikleri onun iktidar mensuplarıyla müspet ve menfi bazı münasebetler içerisinde bulunmasını da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada hem Eyyûbîler hem de onlardan iktidarı devralan Memlükler döneminde meydana gelen siyasî, sosyal ve dinî hadiselerle ilgili olarak İzzeddîn b. Abdüsselâm’ın sultan ve diğer devlet adamlarıyla münasebetleri kronolojik olarak ele alınmıştır. Böylelikle ulemânın iktidar üzerindeki etkinliğinin Eyyûbîlerden Memlüklere taşınmasında şahsî itibarı ve Şâfiî kimliğiyle ön plana çıkan İzzeddîn b. Abdüsselâm’ın bu süreçteki rolünü ortaya koymak hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma neticesinde İzzeddîn b. Abdüsselâm’ın hem mezhebî kimliği hem ilmî otoritesi hem de tavizsiz tutumuyla örneklik teşkil ettiği, bahsi geçen iki devlet arasında ilmî miras ve ulemânın anlayışı bakımdan köprü vazifesi gördüğü tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca yönettikleri toplumla olan farklılıklarından dolayı ulemânın nüfuzundan istifade cihetine giden her iki devlet döneminde de onun ağırlıklı olarak idareyi yönlendirdiği, idarenin aynı şeyi onun üzerinden yapmasına müsaade etmediği anlaşılmıştır | |
| dc.description.abstract | ?Izz al-Dîn Ibn Abd al-Salâm, who lived in the Ayyûbid period and witnessed the foundation of the Mamluk State, was one of the great scholars who had many important duties such as the Umayyad Mosque orator and kâdî of Damascus as well as being the mudarris at the big madrasahs. Because of these duties, he always had a close relationship with the public and received great attention and respect from the Sultans and the members of the government. This position and his personal character brought him to have some positive and negative relations with the members of the government. This work emphasizes chronologically the relations of ?Izz al-Dîn Ibn Abd al-Salâm with the sultan and other statesmen regarding the political, social and religious events that occurred during the period of the Ayyûbid and the Mamluks who took the power after them. Thus, I aimed to reveal the role of ?Izz al-Dîn Ibn Abd al-Salâm, who stood up among others with both his personal reputation and Shafi’i identity in the transition of the ulama’s influence over the authority during the Ayyûbids to the Mamluks. As a result of the study, it was determined that he was an example with both his scientific authority and his uncompromising attitude. He also served as a bridge between the two states in terms of scholarly heritage and the understanding of the ulama. It is also understood that during these two periods of government, which benefited from the influence of the ulama due to their differences with the society they ruled, he mainly directed the authority and did not allow the authority to do the same thing through him. | |
