Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışma, bir üniversite hastanesinin Uluslararası Sağlık Turizmi Birimi’ne bildirilen vakaların retrospektif olarak taranmasını ve tanımlayıcı özelliklerinin incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Materyal ve Metot: Tanımlayıcı türde tasarlanan bu araştırmaya, Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Uluslararası Sağlık Turizmi Birimi’ne 1 Ocak 2010-31 Aralık 2022 tarihleri arasında gerçekleşen 895 dosya dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışmada 10 soruluk veri toplama formu kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler IBM SPSS Statistics, versiyon 27.0 (IBM Corp, Armonk,N.Y., USA) paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Uluslararası sağlık turizmi birimine en fazla başvurunun %31,7 ile 2022 yılında yapıldığı saptandı. Aylara göre değerlendirildiğinde ise en fazla başvuru %14,3 ile Ağustos ayıydı. Hastaların %0,3’ü sağlık turizmi, %99,7’si turist sağlığı kapsamında yapılan başvuruydu. Başvuranların %16,6’sı Afganistan, %10,6’sı Irak, %8,7’si Azerbaycan, %7,9’u Almanya’da ikamet ediyordu. 2010- 2022 yılları arasında başvuran 895 hastanın en fazla başvuruda bulunduğu ilk üç bölüm sırasıyla %24,4 ile çocuk sağlığı ve hastalıkları, %11,8 ile iç hastalıkları, %9,2 ile acil tıp idi. Sonuç: Bu çalışma ile hastaneye başvuran turist sayısının yıllar içinde özellikle yaz aylarında artış gösterdiği, sağlık turizmi amacı ile başvuran hasta sayısının oldukça düşük olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Başvuruların en fazla Afganistan, Irak, Azerbaycan ve Almanya’dan gelen turistler tarafından yapıldığı ve en fazla dâhili bilimlere başvuruların olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Materials and Methods: In this descriptive research, 895 files were included in the Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine Hospital International Health Tourism Unit between 1 January 2010 and 31 December 2022. A data collection form with 10 questions was used in the study. The collected data were analysed using IBM SPSS Statistics, version 27.0 (IBM Corp, Armonk, N.Y., USA). Results: It was found that the highest number of applications to the international health tourism unit was in 2022 with 31.7%. The highest number of applications per month was in August with 14.3%. 0.3% of the patients were registered for health tourism and 99.7% for tourist health. 16.6% of the applicants were from Afghanistan, 10.6% from Iraq, 8.7% from Azerbaijan and 7.9% from Germany. The first three departments where 895 patients applied most between 2010 and 2022 were children's health and diseases with 24.4%, internal diseases with 11.8% and emergency medicine with 9.2%. Conclusion: This study has shown that the number of tourists applying to the hospital has increased over the years, especially in the summer months, and the number of patients applying for health tourism is quite low. It was found that most of the applications were made by tourists from Afghanistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan and Germany and that most of the applications were for internal medicine.
