Abstract
Dünya nüfusunun artması ile birlikte çevre kirliği ve çevre sorunları günümüzde ehemmiyetli bir sorun haline gelmiştir. Çevre problemleri ise sadece ülkelerin sorunu olmaktan çıkmış gezegenimizin bir problemi olmaya başlamıştır. Dolayısıyla artan çevre sorunları beraberinde çevre felaketlerini de girebilmektedir. Akşehir atıksu arıtma tesisi 15.102 m3 /gün kapasiteye sahip bir atıksu arıtma tesisi olup deşarj yeri olarak Akşehir gölü kullanılmaktadır. Akşehir Gölünü besleyen Akşehir Atıksu Arıtma Tesisinin çıkış suyu kalitesi yapılacak çalışmalarla gün yüzüne çıkarılacaktır. Yapılan bu çalışmada Akşehir Gölünü besleyen kaynaklardan biri olan Akşehir Atıksu Arıtma Tesisi çıkış suyunun, belirlenen parametreler ışığında olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri araştırılmıştır. Toplanan numunelerde pH, Elektriksel İletkenlik (Eİ), Kimyasal Oksijen İhtiyacı (KOİ), Biyolojik Oksijen İhtiyacı (BOİ5), Toplam fosfor (TP), Toplam azot (TN), analizleri laboratuvar ortamında çalışılmıştır. Akşehir atıksu arıtma tesisi Avrupa birliği projeleri kapsamında ülkemize kazandırılan önemli yatırımlardan biridir. Arıtma tesisi mevcut bölge kanalizasyon altyapısının tamamını bünyesinde bağlayan ve ileri biyolojik arıtma prosesleri ile çevre sağlığına zararsız kirletici seviyelerine indiren bir tesistir. Tez çalışma programı takviminde belirlenen günlerde yapılan analizlerde; askıda katı madde %97,4 giderim verimi, kimyasal oksijen ihtiyacı %95,7 giderim verimi, biyolojik oksijen ihtiyacı %98,1 giderim verimi, toplam azot %87,8 giderim verimi, toplam fosfor %89,8 giderim verimi belirlenmiştir. Giderim verimleri hedefler ile uyumlu olup çıkış suyu kirletici konsantrasyonları ise deşarj standartlarını sağlamaktadır. Sonuç olarak Akşehir Gölünü besleyen Akşehir atıksu arıtma tesisi çıkış suyu kalitesi, gölü beslemeye elverişli olup; proje bölgeye kazandırılmış etkili ve sürdürülebilir bir proje olarak görülmektedir.
With the increase in the world population, environmental pollution and environmental problems have become an important problem today. Environmental problems have become a problem not only for countries but also for our planet. Therefore, increasing environmental problems may also lead to environmental disasters. Akşehir wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 15102 m3 /day and Akşehir lake is used as the discharge location. The reason why the Akşehir wastewater treatment plant affects Akşehir Lake will be revealed through further studies. In this study, the positive and negative aspects of the Akşehir Wastewater Treatment Plant effluent, one of the sources feeding Akşehir Lake, were investigated in the light of the determined parameters. pH, Electrical Conductivity (EC), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD5), Total phosphorus (TP), Total nitrogen (TN) analyzes of the collected samples were studied in a laboratory. Akşehir wastewater treatment facility is one of the important investments brought to our country within the scope of European Union projects. The treatment plant is a facility that connects the entire existing regional sewage infrastructure and reduces pollutant levels to harmless environmental health through advanced biological treatment processes. In the analyzes carried out on the days determined in the thesis work program calendar; Suspended solids removal efficiency was determined as 97,4%, chemical oxygen demand as 95,7% removal efficiency, biological oxygen demand as 98.1% removal efficiency, total nitrogen as 87,8% removal efficiency, total phosphorus as 89.8% removal efficiency. Removal efficiencies are compatible with the targets and effluent pollutant concentrations meet the discharge standards. As a result, the effluent quality of the Akşehir wastewater treatment plant, which feeds Akşehir Lake, is suitable for feeding the lake; The project is seen as an effective and sustainable project brought to the region.
