Abstract
İslam dünyasında dört halife döneminden sonra yaşanan imamet sorunu ayrılıklara yol açmıştır. Bâtınilik de böyle bir ayrılığın sonucunda ortaya çıkmıştır. Bâtınilik ilk yıllarında gizli propagandalar halinde yürütülmüş ve zamanla geniş coğrafyalara yayılmıştır. Bâtıniliğin ya da İsmâililerin en büyük savunucu Hasan Sabbah olmuştur. Alamut’un ele geçirilmesiyle Hasan Sabbah gücüne güç katmış ve kalesinden emirler verdiği fedaileri o dönemin korkulu rüyası olmuştur. Özellikle bu fedailerin işledikleri cinayetler ve düzenledikleri suikastlar o dönemin en büyük devlet adamlarının bile kâbusu olmuştur. Biz bu çalışmamızda İsmâililik kavramı, davet ve propaganda usulleri, Hasan Sabbah’ın tarih sahnesine çıkış süreci, Selçuklular ile mücadeleleri ve Hasan Sabbah’ın halefleri döneminden bahsedeceğiz.

In this study, we will talk about the concept of İsmâilism, invitation and propaganda methods, the process of Hasan Sabbah on the stage of history, the struggles with the Seljuks and the period of the successors of Hasan Sabbah.
