Özet
Ebu’s-Suûd Efendi’den (ö. 982/1574) hemen sonra yaşamış olan Vanî Mehmed Efendi (ö. 1096/1685) dönemin önde gelen vaiz ve müfessirlerinden biridir. Arâisu’l-Kur’an adlı tefsiri yanında çeşitli eserler ve kısa risaleler kaleme almıştır. Bu risalelerden birisi Ebu’s-Suûd Efendi’nin İrşadu’l-?akli’s-selîm ilâ mezâya’l-Kur’ani’l-Kerîm adlı tefsirinde Hûd Suresi’nin 26 ayet çerçevesinde dile getirdiği açıklamalara yöneltilen eleştirilerle ilgili reddiyeleri ve Vanî Mehmed Efendi’nin iki konuda yaptığı muhâkemât türünden sayılabilecek değerlendirmelerini kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada hem dönemin bazı âlimlerinin söz konusu eleştirileri, hem bu çerçevede görüş serdeden müelliflerin reddiyeleri, hem de bu itirazların hakemliğini yapan Vanî Mehmed Efendi’nin belli bir sistem dâhilinde ele alıp incelediği konulara yaklaşımı incelenmekte ve aynı zamanda mevcut risalenin orijinal metni okuyucunun istifadesine sunulmaktadır.
Vani Mehmed Efendi (d. 1096/1685) lived after Abu’s-Suud Efendi (d. 982/1574) who was a prominent and well-known teacher and preacher of his time. He has received various works and short writings (tractate) besides his al-tafsir Arâisu’l-Kur’an. One of these treatises includes reflections on criticism directed at the explanation Abu’s-Suud Efendi said regarding to the 26th verse of sura al-Hûd, his book İrşadu’l-?akli’s-selîm ilâ mezâya’l-Kur’ani’l-Kerîm and the evaluations that can be counted as the type of muhakemat (adjudications.) This book is actually an example of the traditon of Muhakemat (Adjudications). The questions were asked and the answers (reciprocation) were given by some scholars of the period. Vani Mehmed Efendi has ruled between them and has reached a conclusion. In this work, is examined Vani Mehmed Efendi’s approach to to the issues that he handled and examined within a certain system and is presented the original text of the treatise to the reader at the same time.
