Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı okul dışı etkinliklerle ve öğrenci merkezli olarak verilen çevre eğitiminin bireylerdeki çevre okuryazarlığı, bilimsel süreç becerileri ve bilimsel yaratıcılıklarına etkisini gözlemlemektir. Araştırma, 2013-2014 öğretim yılı güz döneminde Niğde ilinde bir devlet okulunda 7. Sınıfa devam eden 47 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlköğretim 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin çevre bilgisi, bilinci, tutum ve kaygılarına yönelik hazırlanan bir eğitim çalışmasıdır. Bu çalışma deney ve kontrol gruplu yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, öntest-sontest ve kalıcılık testleri uygulanarak deney ve kontrol grupları arasındaki çevre bilgisi, bilinci, tutum ve kaygı farkları araştırılmıştır. Kontrol ve deney gruplarının oluşturulmasında öğrencilerin çalışmaya katılma isteklerinin kullanılmasından dolayı yarı deneysel model kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin hazır bulunuşluk düzeyleri aynı sınıf seviyesinde oldukları için eşit olarak kabul edilmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde öğrencilerle yakın bir temas ve ilgi kurulmuş, yapılan çalışmanın etkileri ve sonuçları gözlemlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu ulaşılan bulgular, uygulanan testler ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulguların analizinde ve yorumlanmasında SPSS istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu ulaşılan bilgiler ışığında çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In this study, it has been observed the effect to scientific process skills, scientific creativity and environmental literacy of student centered environmental education, which is supported by external by effective events. The study was carried out with 47 students in 7th grade of the state school in Nigde Province in the fall semester of 2013-2014 academic year. This study, which was prepared for 7th grade students about environmental knowledge, consciousness, attitudes and concerns, is a quasi-experimental study conducted with experimental and control groups. In this study, environmental knowledge, consciousness, attitude and anxiety differences between experimental and control groups were investigated by applying pretest-posttest and retention tests. In the control and experimental groups, quasi-experimental model was used considering the students' willingness to participate in the study. The students' readiness levels were considered equal because they were at the same grade level. In the research process, a close contact and interest was established with the students and the effects and results of the study were observed. The finding results of the study were obtained by the tests and semi-structured interviews. SPSS statistical program was used in the analysis and interpretation of the findings. As a result of the research, various suggestions were made with the help of the information obtained.
