Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin evlilik öncesi ilişkilere yönelik tutumları ile ebeveynlerin çocuk yetiştirme tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin evlilik öncesi ilişkilere yönelik tutumları ile ebeveynlerin çocuk yetiştirme tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin cinsiyete, yaşa, okunulan bölüme ve annenin çalışma durumuna göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı da incelenmektedir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini çeşitli üniversitelerde eğitim görmekte olan eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinden gelişigüzel örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 306'sı kadın, 134'ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 440 eğitim fakültesi öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Kalkan ve Kaya (2007) tarafından geliştirilen ''Evlilik Öncesi İlişkileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği'', Kuzgun (1972) tarafından geliştirilen ''Anne Baba Tutum Ölçeği'', araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan ''Kişisel Bilgi Formu'' kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS paket program ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin parametrik teknikler için uygun olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi yapılmış ve verilerin normal dağılmadığı görülmüştür. Bu nedenle verilerin analizinde parametrik olmayan (non-parametrik) analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın problemini ve alt problemlerini incelemek adına Mann Whitney-U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi ve Spearman Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin anne-baba tutumları tüm boyutları ile birlikte incelendiğinde, evlilik öncesi ilişkilere yönelik tutumlar ile arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuçlar, ebeveynlerin demokratik tutum sergileme davranışları arttıkça, bireylerin evlilik öncesi ilişkilere yönelik tutumlarında daha mutlu olduklarını ve daha olumlu düşüncelere sahip olduklarını ortaya koymaktadır. Buna göre anne ve babaların sergiledikleri tutumların, eğitim fakültesinde okumakta olan öğrencilerin evlilik öncesi ilişkilere yönelik tutumlarına olan etkisi göz önüne serilmektedir.
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the attitude of the faculty of education students towards premarital relations and their parents' child rearing attitudes. It is examined whether the relationship between the attitudes of the faculty of education students towards premarital relations and their parents' child-rearing attitudes differs according to gender, age, department of study and the working status of the mother. Relational survey model was used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 440 faculty of education students, 306 women and 134 men, selected by random sampling method from various universities. "Pre-Marriage Relations Assessment Scale" developed by Kalkan and Kaya (2007), "Parent Attitude Scale" developed by Kuzgun (1972) and "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher were used as data collection tools. SPSS package program was used for the analysis of the data. In order to determine whether the data are suitable for parametric techniques, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was performed, and it was observed that the data were not distributed normally. Therefore, non-parametric analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. Mann Whitney-U test, Kruskal Wallis test and Spearman Correlation Analysis were used to examine the research problem and sub-problems. According to the findings of the study, when parents' child rearing attitudes of faculty of education students were examined with all its dimensions, it was found that there was a statistically significant relationship between the attitudes towards premarital relations and child rearing attitudes. The results show that the more democratic behaviors of parents, the happier individuals are in their attitudes towards premarital relationships, and they have more positive thoughts about premarital relationships. Accordingly, the effect of the attitudes of mothers and fathers on the attitudes of the faculty of education students towards premarital relations is put into consideration.
