| dc.description.abstract | Eğitim Bilişim Ağı (EBA) web sitesi hem öğrenciler, hem öğreticiler hem de eğitimle uğraşan kişiler için kaynak sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada EBA’nın kullanılabilirliğinin test edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla kullanılabilirlik ölçütü olarak kullanıcıların sistemi etkin kullanımları ve sisteme yönelik görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma grubu Aksaray ilinde çalışmakta olan çeşitli alanlardan yedi öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Yapılan ön görüşmeler doğrultusunda EBA’da kullanıcıların en çok kullandığı ve ihtiyaç duyulabileceği düşünülen otantik görevler havuzu oluşturulmuş ve göz izleme cihazıyla incelemek üzere sekiz görev belirlenmiştir. Veriler görüşme notları, sesli kayıtlar ve göz izleme cihazından elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler analiz edilerek tasarım ve içerik boyutunda kullanılabilirlik sorunları ortaya koyulmuş ve bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri üretilmiştir. Göz izleme cihazı verilerine göre en fazla sorun videolar bölümünde ve sitenin genel tasarımda ortaya çıkmıştır. Görüşme verilerine göre ise tasarımın ilk sürüm dikkate alındığında düzelme göstermesine rağmen alan içeriklerinin yetersiz olması ve arama motorunun verimsiz çalışması söylenebilir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Education Information Network (EBA) website provides resources for both students, educators and people who deal with education. It is aimed to test the usability of EBA in this study. For this purpose, the criterion of usability identified as the participants efficient use of the system and perceptions about the system are examined. The research group consisted of seven teachers from different disciplines working in Aksaray. In line with the preliminary talks, a pool of authentic tasks that users are most used and thought to be needed was established and eight tasks were set to be examined with the eye tracking device. The data were obtained from the interview notes, voice recordings and eye tracking device. By analysing the obtained data, the usability problems in the design and content dimensions are presented and the suggested solutions are formed. According to the eye tracking device data, most of the problems are in the videos section and the web site’s general design. In addition, according to the interview data, although web site design is improved compared to the initial version, the content is inadequate and the search engine is inefficient. | |
