| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada; Genel Kimya I Laboratuvar Dersi alan Fen Bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının laboratuvar güvenlik önlemlerine ilişkin bilgi düzeylerinin test ve açık uçlu soruyla belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışmada, tarama araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını Ege Bölgesinde yer alan bir devlet üniversitesinde Fen Bilgisi Eğitimi anabilim dalında öğrenim görmekte olan ve Genel Kimya Laboratuvar I dersini alan 104 birinci sınıf öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak, laboratuvar güvenlik önlemlerine ilişkin bilgi testi kullanılmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının testte yer alan “Laboratuvar güvenlik önlemleri nelerdir? Açıklayınız.” açık uçlu sorusuna vermiş oldukları yanıtlar içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Aynı zamanda, öğretmen adaylarının testte yer alan güvenlik sembollerinin resimleri ve isimlerinin eşleştirilmesine yönelik verdikleri doğru yanıtların yüzde–frekans değeri hesaplanmıştır. Testin diğer aşamasında ise laboratuvar güvenlik sembollerinin ne anlama geldiğine ilişkin sorularının analizinde beş aşamalı puanlama anahtarı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Fen Bilimleri öğretmen adaylarının laboratuvar güvenlik önlemlerine ilişkin temel düzeyde bilgi sahip oldukları ayrıca laboratuvar güvenlik sembollerini tanımakta ve açıklamakta zorluk çektikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study was aimed to determine the knowledge level of the science teacher candidates who took the General Chemistry I Laboratory Course on laboratory safety with test and open-ended questions. For this purpose, the survey research model was used in the study. The participants of the study consist of 104 first-grade pre-service teachers who are studying in the Science Education Department of a state university in the Aegean Region and taking the General Chemistry Laboratory I course. In the study, as a data collection tool, a knowledge test on laboratory safety was used. The answers given by the teacher candidates to the open-ended question in the test were analyzed by the content analysis method. At the same time, the percentage-frequency value of the correct answers given by the teacher candidates for matching the pictures and names of the security symbols in the test was calculated. In the other stage of the test, a five-stage scoring key was used in the analysis of the questions about what the laboratory safety symbols mean. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the science teacher candidates had basic knowledge about laboratory safety but had difficulty in recognizing and explaining the laboratory safety symbols. | |
