dc.description.abstract	The aim of this research is to determine which values are included in the texts of open education secondary school Turkish textbooks and to reveal the distribution of these values according to grade levels. The research was carried out according to document review, one of the qualitative research methods. In the research, all the texts and poems in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Turkish textbooks taught in the open education secondary school in the 2022-2023 academic year were examined. "Value Examination Form (DIF)" developed by Cengiz and Duran (2017) was used to determine the values in the texts examined within the scope of the research, and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, the most used values in open education secondary school Turkish textbooks at the 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels are aesthetics, sincerity, love, respect, kindness and patriotism, while the least mentioned values in the texts and poems were peace, cleanliness, hospitality, and family unity. The value of simplicity was not included at any grade level. Suggestions were presented in line with the findings obtained.
dc.description.abstract	Bu araştırmanın amacı, açık öğretim ortaokulu Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerde hangi değerlere yer verildiğini tespit etmek ve bu değerlerin sınıf seviyelerine göre dağılımını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesine göre gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında açık öğretim ortaokulunda okutulmakta olan 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin ve şiirlerin tamamı incelenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında incelenen metinlerdeki değerlerin tespit edilmesinde Cengiz ve Duran (2017) tarafından geliştirilen “Değer İnceleme Formu (DİF)”, verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda açık öğretim ortaokulu 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf düzeyindeki Türkçe ders kitaplarında en çok kullanılan değerlerin estetik, samimiyet, sevgi, saygı, nezaket ve vatanseverlik olduğu; barış, temizlik, misafirperverlik ve aile birliği değerlerinin ise metin ve şiirlerde en az yer verilen değerler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sadelik değerine ise hiçbir sınıf düzeyinde yer verilmemiştir. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öneriler sunulmuş
