| dc.description.abstract | Kentlerin sürdürülebilirliğinin artması sürdürülebilir inşaat sektörü, teknolojiler ve sürdürülebilir planlama ile desteklenebileceği gibi kentlerde yaşayanların sürdürülebilirlik konusunda bilinçli olmasını da gerektirmektedir. Bu şekilde sürdürülebilir binalarının kullanım aşamasında performansının artması, sürdürülebilirlik politikalarının başarılı olması ile sağlanabilir. Bu nedenle, sürdürülebilirliğin önemini benimsemiş ve şehirleşmede değişimi sağlayacak insanların yetiştirilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu durum ise özellikle küçük yaştan sürdürülebilirlik prensiplerinin ve kültürünün çocuklara verilmesinin önemini vurgulamaktadır. Bu eğitim çocuk yaşta verilmeye başlanıp üniversite eğitimiyle devam etmelidir. Sürdürülebilirlik açısından bilinçli insanlar sürdürülebilir kentleşme politikalarının etkinliğini ve başarısını arttıracaktır. Bu çalışmada, sürdürülebilir kentleşme için önemli olan sürdürülebilirlik bilincine sahip kentlilerin eğitilmesi ve yetiştirilmesi için gerekli olan eğitimin ekonomi politiği incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kapsamda, detaylı kaynak taraması ile eğitim ekonomi politiği tanımı ve önemi incelendikten sonra, eğitim ekonomi politiğinin sürdürülebilir kentleşme üzerinde etkileri açıklanacaktır. Bu çalışmanın ilgili alandaki akademisyenlere, araştırmacılara ve kent politikalarının oluşturulması üzerine çalışan profesyonellere katkı sağlayacağı beklenmektedir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Even if improvement in the sustainability performance of the cities can be supported by sustainable construction industry, technologies and sustainable planning, it requires the citizens to be consious about sustainability. In this way, increase in the sustainability performance of the buildings’ occupation phase can be achieved with the help of successful sustainability policies. For this reason, it is very important to educate people so that they become consious about sustainability and capable of achieving the sustainability change in the cities. This situation emphasises the importance of training the children in their early ages with respect to the sustainability principles and culture. Citizens consious about sustainability can enhance success and effectiveness of the sustainable urbanization policies. This study aims to investigate the economy politics of the education needed for educating the citizens consicous about sustainability so that sustainable urbanization can be achieved. Within this scope, based on the detailed literature review, following the description and importance of the political economy of the education, impact of the education on the sustainable urbanization will be investigated. This study is expected to be useful to academics, researchers, politics and professionals in the relevant field. | |
