Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Derin Ekoloji anlayışını ele alarak bu anlayış içinde tarımın yerini saptamaktır. Çalışmayı ortaya koyarken Derin Ekoloji hakkında kaleme alınan eserler göz önünde bulundurularak kapsamlı bir literatür taraması yapılmıştır ve Derin Ekoloji hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sonrasında Sığ Ekoloji, Derin Ekolojiye getirilen eleştiriler ve Derin Ekoloji kapsamında tarımın yerini anlamak için literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Toplanan veriler ve araştırmalar neticesinde Derin Ekoloji anlayışında tarımın yeri saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, dünyanın daha yaşanabilir bir yer olması amacıyla ortaya atılan Derin Ekoloji, kendi içinde anlamlı özellikler barındırmasıyla birlikte günümüz tarım anlayışının farkına varmamız için bir rehber özelliği taşıdığı görülmüştür. Derin Ekoloji, günümüz tarımının doğaya ve diğer canlılara verdiği zararı da göz önünde bulundurarak tarım anlayışında daha çevreci bir yönelişin gerekliliğini vurgulamaktadır. Tarımın daha çevreci bir faaliyet olarak insanların ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilmesi için diğer canlıların yaşam alanlarının varlığı kabul etmeli ve bu yaşam alanlarına saygılı olunmalıdır. Ancak bu şekilde daha zararsız, daha Derin Ekoloji düşüncesine uygun ve çevreci bir tarım ortaya çıkabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of the study is to evaluate the relationship between Deep Ecology and Urban Agriculture. This study explains how agricultural production can be in accordance with the understanding of Deep Ecology. In this direction, Deep Ecology was discussed. Afterwards, the environmental effects of industrial agriculture were discussed. In this process, the works brought to the literature were reviewed. Finally of study, the relationship between Urban Agriculture and Deep Ecology is discussed. Finally, the works on Urban Agriculture were examined. Finally, the suitability of Urban Agriculture to the understanding of Deep Ecology was discussed. As a result of these evaluations, it was understood that industrial agriculture was not suitable for the understanding of Deep Ecology. It has been determined that agricultural production suitable for Deep Ecology can be provided by Urban Agriculture. As a result, it was seen that industrial agriculture was not suitable for the understanding of Deep Ecology. Industrial agriculture is a great threat to living life and natural balance. The idea of Deep Ecology emphasizes living life and natural balance. In this direction, Deep Ecology supports eco-friendly agriculture. Urban agriculture reduces the negative effects of industrial agriculture and Urban Agriculture is compatible with Deep Ecology
