| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma, Ulus gazetesinin 1938 yılı içinde neşrettiği içeriğin dönemsel okumalarla değerlendirilmesi neticesinde, İmparatorluk’tan ulus-devlete geçiş sürecinde kadınlık meselesini, yeni kadın inşasını, kadın üzerinden tavsiye edilen gündelik hayat pratiklerini, Batı kadınına paralel öneriler ile yeni bir kadın modeli oluşturma yönündeki çabaları, Türk kadınının görünür kılınmasında basının önemini ve Genç Cumhuriyet’in kadın algısının ne olduğuna dair fotoğrafı yansıtmayı amaç edinmiştir. Dönemin resmî ideolojisinin moderniteye bakışını ve bilhassa kadın yurttaşlarını bu ideale karşı nasıl kurguladığını gösterebilmek çalışmanın ana konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada öne çıkan mesele; 1938 yılı Türkiye’sinde rejimin resmî gazetesi niteliğindeki Ulus gazetesinin Cumhuriyet’in ilk on beş yılında medya yoluyla kitlelere sunduğu kadın profilidir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The research aims to reflect the issue of femininity in the process of transition from Empire to nationstate, the construction of new women formation the recommended daily life practices through the women, the efforts to create a new woman model with suggestions parallel to the Western woman, the importance of the press in making Turkish women visible and the photograph of the perception of women in the Young Republic as a result of the evaluation of the content of Ulus newspaper in 1938 by periodic readings. The main subject of this study is to show how the official ideology of the period was based on modernity and especially how it constituted women's citizens against this ideal. The main issue in the study is; the woman profile presented to the masses through the media in the first fifteen years of the Republic thanks to Ulus Newspaper, which is the official newspaper of the regime in 1938, is the female profile presented to the masses through the media. | |
