Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin elektromanyetik kirliliğe sebep olan teknolojik cihazların bilinçli kullanımına ilişkin farkındalıklarının cinsiyet, öğrenim düzeyi, anne eğitim seviyesi, baba eğitim seviyesi, ailelerinin aylık gelirleri, baba meslek, anne meslek değişkenlerine göre değişip değişmediğini incelemektir. Çalışmanın örneklemi, Balıkesir ilinin Bandırma ilçesindeki okullara kayıtlı 587 öğrenciden (290 kız ve 297 erkek) oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Köklükaya ve Selvi (2015) tarafından geliştirilen “Elektromanyetik Kirliliğe Sebep Olan Teknolojik Cihazların Bilinçli Kullanımına İlişkin Farkındalık Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre; öğrencilerin elektromanyetik kirliliğe sebep olan teknolojik cihazlarının bilinçli kullanımına ilişkin farkındalıkları cinsiyet ve öğrenim düzeylerine göre farklılık göstermekteyken anne eğitim, baba eğitim, aylık aile geliri, baba meslek, anne meslek düzeylerine farklılık göstermemektedir.
The aim of the study is to investigate whether secondary school students’ awareness of conscious use of technological devices causing electromagnetic pollution change according to some variables such as gender, grade level, educational level of mother and father, salary, profession of mother and father. The sample of the study consisted of 587 students (290 female and 297 male) enrolled in secondary schools in Bandırma district of Balıkesir. In the study, survey method was used. “The scale of awareness of conscious use of technological devices that cause electromagnetic pollution” developed by Köklükaya and Selvi (2015) was used as a data collection tool. The results of the study indicated that students’ awareness of conscious use of technological devices causing electromagnetic pollution was statistically different by gender and grade level but not by educational level of mother and father, salary, profession of mother and father.
