| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, 2019 yılında ortaya çıkan COVID-19 Sağlık Krizi ile 2008 Küresel Finansal Krizin lojistik sektörü üzerindeki etkisi karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeylerine etki eden ve işletmeler için rekabet edebilirlik noktasında hayati öneme sahip olan bu kavramın küresel krizler sonucunda alınan önlemler ve revizyonlarla yeniden şekillendiği görülmektedir. Lojistik sektörü kendi içindeki dinamiklerin yanında dış çevredeki değişimlerden de etkilenmektedir. Tamamlayıcı bir hizmet sektörü olması nedeniyle lojistik sektörü dışsal etkilere karşı daha duyarlıdır. Elbette bu dışsal etkilerin başında dünya ekonomilerini etkileyen krizler gelmektedir. Bu anlama 2008 Küresel Finansal Kriz ve 2020’de ekonomik etkileri görülen COVID-19 Sağlık Krizi lojistik sektörüne etki eden en önemli dışsal unsurları oluşturmaktadır. İki kriz arasında önemli farklılıklar olması, lojistik sektörüne etkileri açısından da oldukça farklı sonuçlar doğurmaktadır. Sonuçların analizi, lojistik sektörünün geleceğine dair yapılacak tahminler için önem arz etmektedir. Çalışma, iki krizin lojistik sektörüne etkilerini analiz ederek, lojistik sektörünün geleceğine dair ışık tutarak literatüre katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the effects of the COVID-19 Health Crisis that emerged at the end of 2019 and the 2008 Global Financial Crisis on the logistics sector were evaluated comparatively. It is seen that this concept, which affects the development levels of countries and is of vital importance for businesses in terms of competitiveness, has been reshaped with the measures and revisions taken as a result of global crises. The logistics sector is affected by the changes in the external environment as well as the dynamics within itself. Since it is a complementary service sector, the logistics sector is more sensitive to external effects. Of course, at the forefront of these external effects are the crises that affect the world economies. In this regard, the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, and the COVID-19 Health Crisis which had economic effects start to be seen in 2020 constitute the most important external factors affecting the logistics sector. The fact that there are significant differences between the two crises creates quite different results in terms of their effects on the logistics sector. The analysis of these results is important for the predictions to be made about the future of the logistics industry. This study aims to contribute to the literature by analyzing the effects of the two crises on the logistics sector, shedding light on the future of the logistics sector. | |
