Öğe Eigenvalue buckling analysis of beams with different width and square cutouts(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2022) Evran, Savaş; Yıldır, Salih ZekiIn this study, effect of square cutout and beam widths on eigenvalue buckling analysis of beams is evaluated using finite element and Taguchi methods. ANSYS software is used to perform the finite element analyses and the analyses were conducted Taguchi L9 orthogonal array with three control factors. Each control factor has three levels. The first control factor is considered as position of square cutout whereas the second control factor was assumed as beam widths. The influence of levels of the beam widths and square cutouts on responses is determined using analysis of signal-to-noise ratio whereas variance analysis was operated to notice the effect of each control factor on the buckling behavior of the beams. According to results obtained from the study, the buckling value of the beams increase as the square cutout get closer to the free edge. Increase of the beam widths leads to an increase on buckling result of the beams. The effect of beam width on the buckling analysis is higher than square cutout.Öğe Convergence and stability analysis of a new four-step fixed-point algorithm(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2022) Atalan, Yusuf; Kılıç, EsraThe concept of stability is studied on many different types of mathematical structures. This concept can be thought of as the small changes that will be applied in the structure studied should not disrupt the functioning of this structure. In this context, we performed the convergence and stability analysis of the new four-step iteration algorithm that we defined in this study, under appropriate conditions. In addition, we execute a speed comparison with existing algorithms to prove that the new algorithm is effective and useful, and we gave a numerical example to support our result.Öğe Quantum mechanics approach for appropriately chosen hamiltonian(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2022) Kaya, AhmetRisk theory has always played a significant role in mathematical finance and actuarial sciences. A novel approach to the risk theory of non-life insurance is quantum mechanics. To compute finite-time non-ruin probability, I introduce the quantum mechanics formalism in discrete space and continuous space with the appropriately chosen Hamiltonian. By using the quantum mechanics approach and the stochastic method, the non-ruin operator is defined, and tensor products of operator concepts are presented for several examples. In this paper, Dirac notations are operated to find the Hamiltonian matrix with the eigenvector basis for two and three-state cases, and its tensor product version with a change of basis.Öğe The role of silica nanoparticle in fingerprint visualization studies(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2022) Çetli, Elif; Özkoçak, Vahdet; Tatar, DemetFingerprints are the most important evidence that allows the criminal to be profiled in a crime scene investigation. A fingerprint is considered evidence due to its unique characteristics. Fingerprints are not visible and therefore need to be visualized after being recovered from the scene. Many methods are used for visualization purposes. The most commonly used methods are dusting, Ninhydrin, DFO, Super Glue, etc. the methods are not. In addition to these methods, other chemicals, physical and optical methods have recently been uncovered. Due to technological developments affecting the field of Forensic Sciences, new dimensions have also been introduced to fingerprint studies. The use of nanoparticles has gained momentum, especially in fingerprint visualization studies. In the use of nanoparticles, silica nanoparticles are used in studies. Objective: this study, it was aimed to determine the level of use of silica nanoparticles in fingerprint visualization studies. Based on the data obtained for this purpose, which silica nanoparticle is most used, which method is most used in silica nanoparticle synthesis, what are the dimensions of the resulting molecules, which technique is most preferred for visualization, etc. it is aimed to provide researchers with up-to-date information by determining the parameters? Method: In this study, the systematic literature review was preferred to collect research data. The level of use of silica nanoparticles has been investigated in fingerprint visualization studies between 2016 and 2020. Data collection was obtained through scientific studies. Parameters such as silica nanoparticle molecules, synthesis methods, absorbent values, surface types used, imaging types were compared in the obtained publications.Öğe Yapay sulak alan atık su arıtma sistemlerin evsel atık suların arıtılmasında kullanılmasında karşılaşılan sorunlar ve öneriler(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2022) Yiğit, Eyüp Sabri; Kayranlı, BirolSürdürülebilir atık su yönetimi uygulaması, düşük sermaye maliyeti ve düşük enerji tüketimi ve düşük mekanik teknoloji gereksinimleri ile ilgili olmalıdır. Evsel atık suların arıtılması için basit, ekipmanı kompleks olmayan, çıktıları ekonomik değere sahip ve kullanılabilen, ilk yatırım ve işletme maliyeti düşük olan uygun teknolojilerin geliştirilmesi büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu nedenle, sulak alan, düşük ilk yatırım maliyeti, düşük bakım ve işletme kolaylığı nedeniyle, özellikle küçük topluluklar için geleneksel arıtma sistemlerine verimli teknik alternatifler olabilir. Yapay sulak alan, sığ su derinliği, ortaya çıkan bitki örtüsü ve doğal sulak alan ekosistemlerinde bulunanları taklit eden yerinde toprak kullanımı olarak tanımlanmıştır. Atık su arıtımı bitkiler, mikroorganizmalar, su, toprak ve güneş ışığını içeren çeşitli fiziksel, kimyasal ve biyolojik süreçlerle sistemde yer alır. Sulak alanlarda büyük bekletme sureleri arıtma verimini artırmaktadır. Ülkemizde mevcut yapay sulak alan arıtma sistemleri projelendirme, inşaat, işletme sırasında yapılan çeşitli hatalar sebebi ile etkin bir şekilde işletilememekte ya da çalışır durumda değildir. Yapay sulak alan tesislerinde karşılaşılan problemlerin genel çözümü olarak detaylı ve dikkatli bir projelendirme aşaması, proje dosyasına uyularak gerçekleştirilen bir inşaat aşaması ve gerekli analizlerin, gözlemlerin ve iyileştirmelerin yapıldığı işletme aşaması birçok sorunun ortaya çıkmasını önleyecektir. Bu makale, atık sular için yapay sulak alanlar, avantaj ve dezavantajları, tasarım ve işletme problemlerinin değerlendirilmesine odaklanmaktadır.Öğe A fuzzy approach for generalized project selection and scheduling problem with resource management(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2022) Bektur, GülçinIn this study, the problem of project selection and scheduling with resource management is considered project setup times, dynamic project arrivals, priorities and relationship between projects. A fuzzy multi-objective mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model is proposed for the solution of the problem. The classic two-phase fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach is modified to solve the proposed multi-objective MILP model. The addressed problem is defined over the project selection and scheduling problem of a construction company. The effect of resource management on the project selection and scheduling problem is demonstrated over the generated test problems. Modified two-phase FGP and classic two-phase FGP approaches are compared over test problems. With the use of the modified two-phase FGP approach, additional alternative solutions are found for the problem.
