This condition requires that the alternative fuels under investigation be environmentally sustainable. This chapter indicates hydrogen, which holds a significant position among alternative fuels due to its availability and environmental sustainability. The enhanced combustion velocity and selfignition temperature diminish the likelihood of knocking in spark ignition engines. The minimal ignition energy facilitates effortless starting. Due to the absence of carbon in hydrogen, its exhaust emissions are superior to those of fossil fuel engines. The implementation of plasmatron technology resulted in around 25% fuel savings in vehicles, maintaining vehicle efficiency. The accomplishment was realized through the full combustion of fuel in lean combinations. The complete combustion of fuel diminished vehicle emissions and mitigated environmental harm.
