Although steps were taken to address environmental problems from time to time, the measures taken were not sufficient and environmental problems continued to increase. Considering that the easiest, permanent and economical way to solve problems is through education, education should be given importance in the fight against environmental problems. The prerequisite for a livable environment is to raise an environmentally sensitive generation. The first target should therefore be the critically important early childhood period. In order to invest in our future, it is necessary to increase children's contact with nature, to ensure that they love and protect nature, and to develop their attitudes and skills to contribute to nature. So what are the duties of families and educators in this regard, what can we do for a more ecological, sustainable and livable environment?.
