    A good sample to concurrent Fauna: Study on aquatic coleoptera fauna (Adephaga and polyphaga) of Lake Van Basin (Turkey), with some zoogeographic remarks

    A brief zoogeographic analysis of the aquatic and semi aquatic Coleoptera fauna of Lake Van Basin (East Anatolia) based on the distribution of 194 species/subspecies belong to ten families in basin shows the existence of three major faunas, one influenced European-Siberian region, the others by the Eremia and Mediterranean. Species from different zoogeographical unitsare determined and listed. Totally, in research area, it is found out that 111 species find in every three zoogeographic region. Rhantus frontalis (Dytiscidae), Helophorus occidentalis and H. yammounensis (Helophoridae) are newly recorded from Turkey. Turkey is southern limit of Ochthebius costatellus, andeastern limit of Hygrobia hermanni ranges.

    Aquatic coleoptera fauna of Ramsar Site Sultan Sazligi (Kayseri, Turkey) and its surroundings: New distribution records of four species from the southern limit of its range

    Aquatic Coleoptera fauna of the Ramsar site Sultan Sazligi (Kayseri, Turkey) was investigated between May and October 2009. A total of 87 species were determined. Their distributions in Turkey are presented. Worldwide distributions of four newly-recorded species (Agabus lineatus Gebler, 1848, Helophorus pumilio Erichson, 1837, Helophorus redtenbacheri Kuwert, 1885 and Cercyon tristis (Illiger, 1801)) from Turkey are also given. It was established that Turkey is the southernmost limit of distribution of all the newly recorded species from Turkey.

    Contributions to the knowledge of Iranian aquatic polyphaga (coleoptera) fauna

    In this study, we established the presence of 42 aquatic beetle (Coleoptera: Hydrophiloidea) species belonging to 13 genera and 3 families (Helophoridae, Hydrochidae and Hydrophilidae) in Guilan, Mazandaran, Qazvin, Sanandaj and Tehran provinces of Iran. The specimens were collected between 2008 and 2009. Eleven species were recorded from Iran for the first time, and distributions in Iran and worldwide of these newly recorded species are presented.

    Faunistic study on aquatic coleoptera of the eastern mediterranean region of Turkey

    This study was conducted in Adana, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaras, Kilis and Osmaniye provinces of the Eastern Mediterranean Region between the years of 2011 and 2013. In this study, it was attempted to describe 51 species which were determined to belong to the five families. Of all these species, 41 were from Dytiscidae, 1 species was from Gyrinidae, 6 species were from Haliplidae, 2 species were from Noteridae, and 1 species was from Spercheidae. Two of them were new records for Turkey (Hydroporus scalesianus and Hydrovatus acuminatus), two species were also second record for Turkey (Haliplus fulvus and Ilybius quadriguttalus) and one species was first exact locality record for Turkey (Haliplus obliquus).

    Faunistic study on dytiscidae, haliplidae and noteridae (Coleoptera: Adephaga) in middle and eastern black sea regions, Turkey

    In this study, it was attempted to describe 47 species which were determined to belong to the Coleoptera: Adephaga. Of all these species, 4 were from Haliplidae, one species was from Noteridae, and 42 species were from Dytiscidae. Six of them were new records for the Black Sea Region of Turkey (Graptodytes veterator behningi, Herophydrus musicus, Hydroporus askalensis, Hygrotus enneagrammus, H. ahmeti, H. marklini) and (Herophydrus musicus, Hygrotus ahmeti, H. enneagrammus and H. marklini) also second record for Turkey. And with this study 10 species for Amasya, 18 species for Bayburt, 3 species for Çorum, 26 species for Giresun, 9 species for Gümü°hane, 19 species for Ordu, 4 species for Samsun, 27 species for Tokat and 7 species for Trabzon provinces were recorded first time and distributions in Turkey of these newly recorded species are presented.
