Öğe Açık Öğretim Ortaokulu Türkçe Ders Kitaplarındaki Metinlerin Değer Aktarımı Açısından İncelenmesi(Aksaray Üniversitesi, 2023) Can, Ece; Can, FurkanThe aim of this research is to determine which values are included in the texts of open education secondary school Turkish textbooks and to reveal the distribution of these values according to grade levels. The research was carried out according to document review, one of the qualitative research methods. In the research, all the texts and poems in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Turkish textbooks taught in the open education secondary school in the 2022-2023 academic year were examined. "Value Examination Form (DIF)" developed by Cengiz and Duran (2017) was used to determine the values in the texts examined within the scope of the research, and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, the most used values in open education secondary school Turkish textbooks at the 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels are aesthetics, sincerity, love, respect, kindness and patriotism, while the least mentioned values in the texts and poems were peace, cleanliness, hospitality, and family unity. The value of simplicity was not included at any grade level. Suggestions were presented in line with the findings obtained.
