Öğe Pre-service music teachers’ experiences with the teaching practice course(Nilgun SAZAK, 2024) Aras, AydaThis study reveals the experiences of pre-service music teachers in the teaching practice course. Phenomenology was used for this study. Eight final-year pre-service music teachers who took the teaching practice course were included in the study using maximum diversity sampling. The data were collected using semi-structured interviews. Deductive content analysis was used to analyze the data. Credibility and transferability studies were adopted as validity studies, and internal consistency and confirmability studies were adopted as reliability studies. Pre-service music teachers stated that they had many positive and negative experiences with the teaching methods and techniques, mentor teacher, use of technology, school administrator, students, textbooks, equipment, music classroom, classroom management, time management, and content knowledge. It was concluded that pre-service music teachers gained many benefits due to their teaching practice. In line with the results, suggestions such as pre-service music teachers should be enabled to carry out their teaching practice at different levels of education.Öğe The effect of mobbing levels experienced by music teachers on organizational commitment and job satisfaction(Ani Publishing, 2019) Aras, AydaMusic education is a learning and teaching process that creates cognitive, affective and psychomotor changes in the behaviors of an individual. One of the most important elements of this process is the music teacher. The experiences of music teachers in the work environment also affect the quality of education they provide. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between the levels of mobbing experienced by, and the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of music teachers working at primary schools. Research Methods: This research was conducted with relational survey model. The study group comprised of music teachers working at primary schools in Ankara province. 248 music teachers in total were included in the sampling by stratified sampling method. Research data were collected by means of Negative Behavior Scale, Organizational Commitment Scale and Job Satisfaction Scale. Findings: According to the results of the study, significant negative relationship was found between the level of mobbing experienced by, and the levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of music teachers. In addition, it was determined that organizational commitment and job satisfaction significantly predicted mobbing behavior. Implications for Research and Practice: When taking into consideration that music teachers experience mobbing in schools, especially in relation to their occupations, and the mobbing behaviors they are most exposed to, creating their role/position definitions at the level of their competences, taking into account their ideas and views and their requests when they ask to use their rights (sick leave, holiday entitlement) will help increase their organizational commitment and job satisfaction. In future studies, new research models may be formed with different variables on how to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment or on how to reduce mobbing.Öğe Türkiye’de Müzik Eğitimi Alanında Yapılmış Teknoloji İçerikli Lisansüstü Çalışmaların İncelenmesi(Atatürk Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü, 2024) Aras, Ayda; Göksel, Remziye EzgiGeçmişten günümüze insan yaşamında önemli etkileri olan teknoloji; sürekli değişim ve gelişim içerisindedir. Hayatımızın hemen her alanına etki eden teknolojinin iç içe olduğu alanlardan birisi de eğitimdir. Günümüzde ve gelecekte teknolojinin eğitim üzerindeki etkisi göz önüne alındığında, müzik eğitimi ve teknoloji ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü çalışmaların literatürde önemli bir yeri olduğu düşünülmektedir. Müzik eğitimi ve teknoloji ile ilgili çalışmalara ilgili araştırmacılara kaynak sunması ayrıca müzik eğitimi ve teknolojiye ilişkin yapılacak çalışmalara fikir sunmayı amaçlayan bu çalışmada Nitel araştırma yöntemi ve durum çalışması benimsenmiştir. 1996-2023 yılları arasında tamamlanmış olan 140 tez incelenmiştir. Verilerin frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) dağılımları tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda müzik eğitiminde teknoloji içerikli tezlerin çoğunluğunun yüksek lisan tezi olduğu, en çok tezin Gazi Üniversitesi’nde yapıldığı, en çok tezin 2022 yılında yapıldığı, enstitüler arasında tezlerin en çok Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü’nde yürütüldüğü, konu eğilimlerine göre en çok çalışmanın müzik eğitimi ve öğretiminde teknolojinin kullanılma durumu ile ilgili olduğu ve yöntemler arasında en çok nicel yöntemlerin tercih edildiği bulgularına ulaşılmıştır.
