The study group consists of 25 pre-service teachers from 15 different universities participating in the project entitled "Nature Education Project in Ihlara Valley (Aksaray) and Its Surrounding". The project was supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). In the study, the participating students were asked to write learning diaries daily throughout the ten-day project about their daily activities. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the students' diaries. In light of the findings of the study, it was found that dairies are effective tools in the evaluation process of the nature education. It is suggested that the students should be encouraged to write learning diaries throughout their nature education.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessLearning DiariesNature EducationPre-service TeachersUse of learning diaries in a nature education project as an evaluation toolConference Object36353643WOS:000318797403086N/A
